The Forseen (Closed)

Savannah ate as slowly and politely as she could without stuffing it all into her mouth. She loved every bit of it and wondered if Ronin might teach her how to make it someday. She would ask later, though.

Ronin finished his food and set the dishes on the counter top again before he rose to his feet and stepped outside. "Ready when you are, sis."

Smiling she copied what he did and sat her plate on the counter. "I'm done. Thank you so much, that was amazing." She said with a smile as she stood up.

The chef behind the counter top bowed at her words. It appeared as though he knew some english and had picked up her thank you. Ronin stretched his arms above his head, watching as the gray light of dawn began to appear. "Come. It's time you saw a bit of our culture. And there are plenty of places to go to learn about it. First stop: one of the Shinobi temples. There are very few left, but luckily I know of one just inside of town."

Smiling Savannah exited the little restaurant they had their breakfast in and held the door open for Ronin. "How far is it? I would love to come back here once before we leave." She said with a smile as she looked around the city.

"Not far." Ronin said as he stepped outside.(the restaurant is like the noodle shop in Naruto ^_^) "We're barely inside the City now. The Temple is just up the road and then the city really begins. One thing you'll notice about Kyoto is that it harmonizes with nature more than the other cities in Japan."

It's so beautiful here." She said as she walked with him but continued to look around. She was happy she had come with him that morning.

Ronin smiled as he led her to the Temple of the Shinobi. It was there that he looked around and took a deep breath. It was one of these Shinobi that had told him about the monastery in the mountains, where he trained; where they were staying now.

Savannah was at an awe as she looked at the temple. She didn't say anything the fascination was clear on her face as she looked at everything.

Ronin smiled at her and then carefully moved her out of the way just as two Shinobi-in-training came through, sparring. "Careful, Savannah. This place may be beautiful, but it trains the most deadly ninjas any country has ever seen."

Smiling she walked back over to Ronin. "Sorry. I won't touch anything it's just so pretty." She said smiling as she continued to look around.

Ronin gave a laugh. "I wasn't referring to you touching anything. I was referring to you wandering about looking in a trance while there's training going on here." He said, patting her back before he stepped further inside the Temple. "Stay close."

Nodding she stayed close to him but still looked around with fascination.

Ronin showed her around a couple of times before he led her to the main chamber where two students were practicing in front of a Master. Ronin stood there on the sidelines for a while, watching.

Savannah watched as the two students spared in the center of the room. She looked absolutely fascinated by everything she saw.

Ronin waited until the students had finished their test before he called a greeting to the Master. The Shinobi master looked up and immediately went to test Ronin's skills. Ronin showed him just exactly how his skills were before the two men embraced and started talking. Did Ronin literally know everyone here in Japan?

Savannah watched them both but said nothing. She didn't want to interrupt and instead waited to be introduced.

Ronin turned to look over at Savannah before he motioned toward her with a hand and introduced her to the man. "Savannah, this is Katsu, the master of the Shinobi Temple here." The man bowed to the girl and greeted her.

Savannah smiled and walked over to stand beside Ronin. "It's nice to meet you sir." She said with a smile.

Katsu smiled and nodded his head in greeting. He turned to Ronin and spoke with him in Japanese for a while before he turned and began the training of a new student, one Ronin hadn't seen before.

Savannah stayed close beside Ronin watching with him.

Ronin smiled over at Savannah before he chuckled. "Is there anything you've been curious about Japan?"

I don't know. I've only ever seen pictures but I heard about a marketplace here in Kyoto. Can we go there?" She asked smiling. This marketplace was full of food vendors and small shops that sold all kinds of things.

Ronin smiled at the mention of the market. He nodded and told the others that he was leaving. He got a chorus of goodbyes before he ushered Savannah back out into the street. "It's this way." He said and headed left.

Savannah smiled and hurried after him. She had always wanted to visit this marketplace and try some of the food. Maybe even buy a thing or two.
