The Forseen (Closed)

The Master dipped his head with a nod and rubbed her back with a gentle hand before he stood to his feet and went back to Ava, letting her know the child would have to think about it for the evening before he retired to his own chambers.

Ava nodded back and looked over at Savannah for a few moments before turning to go back to Ronin. She was getting tired anyway and just wanted to be with her husband.

Ronin had stood outside with Haru talking about their training days and the day that they first met. They both had a smile across their face and finally Haru had his mask off and hanging around his neck. He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest and his legs in a comfortable position. It would have appeared that they both missed their training days. They would spar often at the crack of dawn, sometimes when there were still stars in the morning sky. Ronin turned when he heard Ava approaching and smiled before he rose to his feet. "Ready to see the chamber again?"

Of course." She said before smiling at Haru. "It's good to see you again Haru." She said before turning back to her husband.

Haru nodded in agreement and smiled after the pair before he too retired to his quarters for the night while Ronin took her hand in his and led her down to the first chamber that they'd gotten when they first came here together. It was as though they had never left. Everything was the way it had been when they left. Ronin took off his shoes and stepped inside before he fell against the comfortable bed with a sigh. He sounded really tired.

Smiling Ava did the same before she followed him to the bed. "Fun first day." She said with a chuckle as she lay beside him.

Ronin grunted in argument, snuggling against the pillows. "It could have gone better." He mumbled against the pillow under his head. "At least they didn't reject Kenneth or Savannah, so that's a good thing."

I'm sure things will be ok." Ava said with a smile as she got up to change for bed. "Savannah is a strange girl but she's spent most of her life on the streets and is probably very skittish of people," Ava told him as she laid back down in bed in her PJs.

"Probably. Though she's gotten used to us and the others at the Inn." Ronin got up to change as well and was soon back in the bed cuddling a pillow.

Aye, but this place is new and she doesn't know the people who live here. She's afraid of people ronin and she will need time to get used to them. Maybe you should show her around? Introduce her and show her the culture here. I'm sure she just needs to get used to it and she will be fine." Smiling Ava looked at her husband.

Ronin blinked open his eyes for a moment before he grunted an acknowledgement, stating that he'd do that in the morning.

Ava chuckled and laid beside him. She rested her head on his chest before drifting off to sleep.

Ronin held Ava close all night as he slept, one arm wrapped around her.

It was early morning by the time Ronin woke up. Old habits were hard to break and he only ever woke up this early here. He went to where Savannah was sleeping and knocked on the sliding door. "Savannah."

Groaning Savannah got up out of ben and cracked her door open. "Yes? What's going on?" She asked still half asleep. She wasn't use to being woken up this early in the day and it confused her. Was there something wrong with someone or perhaps the people here wanted her gone...

"Get dressed." Ronin said in a hushed tone, drawing his hood and his mask. "And be sure to have your hood drawn. I'm taking you around the nearest city so you can learn the culture here. I think you'll find it interesting." Ronin said with a smile, his cheekbones heightened by the grin across his face.

Oh ok! Just give me a moment." She said as she shut the door and quickly got dressed before opening the door. "Ok. I'm ready." She said with a smile as she stepped outside and shut her door quietly behind her.

Ronin reached behind her and tugged her hood over her head before he beckoned her to follow him. "I'll only be able to show you Kyoto, though. It's the closest city to here." He said as he started down the path of the mountain that led back to the crack that they'd come into to get here. Ronin turned his head once to catch a glimpse of Haru, who was practicing his skills and from the look of the dark emerald green dragon circling his body, he was honing his own dragon abilities. "Come." Ronin said, urging Savannah down to the archway and onto the steps.

There was only one person who knew about his and Haru's dragon abilities and that was his wife. If Savannah did have a link to the Gold Dragon, then she would need to learn about Japanese culture and legends soon.

Savannah yawned and went where he told her to. "Why so early?" She asked looking up at him sheepishly. She used to getting up early but not this early. "Kyoto looked pretty when we passed through there on our way here..." She said as she looked up at Ronin again smiling.

"Sorry about the early hour. I always wake up this early whenever I come back to Japan. It's a routine that's been hard to break, even when I return to America." He said with a small shrug as he trudged back down the steps. "And Kyoto is actually pretty amazing, once you learn the streets and where everything is."

Savannah gave him a sleepy smile as they walked. "Do you think we can grab some breakfast while were out? I'm starving and I'll pay you back." She said as she slowly began to wake up completely.

"Sure. Just know that Japanese breakfasts are different to the ones you've gotten used to now." Ronin said. Before long, the crack came up and he stepped through to the forest beyond. He took a deep breath and exhaled before he started walking toward Kyoto.

What do you mean different?" She asked curiously as she followed after him. She didn't think they could be that different. She was sure she could still eat it anyway. She was so hungry that at that point she could probably eat anything.

Ronin smiled as he made his way into an old style Japanese breakfast bar. It was complete with the sheets in front of the bar. It smelt good. Ronin greeted the man inside and they talked for a while before he ordered breakfast for two. The man prepared it and he said with a grin that it was on the house. Ronin thanked him and told Savannah to join him. "It's healthy and good." What was on the table was two bowls of natto, white rice, two bananas one for each of them and a couple of raw eggs each. "It's meant to be blended together, so here watch me." Ronin then immediately began to blend his food together expertly before he took a bite. He made a face. He hadn't eaten Japanese food in a long time and it was good.

Savannah watched him for a moment before doing the same. She took a bite of her own food and after a few moments, she smiled. "This is really good." She said as she took another bite smiling happily. She should have come to Japan alot sooner than she had.

Ava woke up about the time and sighed as she started to have a craving. Pulling out her phone she sent Ronin a text message. " Ronin before you come back can you please pick me up some Nigiri Sushi? I'm having a craving Please?" She smiled and pressed send before getting up.

Ronin looked at his phone and smiled at his wife's text and told her that he would pick some up before they headed back. "Let's eat and then I'll show you some other things that I think you'll enjoy."
