The Forseen (Closed)

I saw something when she handed the bag to me... It wasn't a vision... It was more like a flash.." She said as she continued to follow close behind Ronin. "I saw death." Savannah really wasn't sure how else to describe it. It had looked like death but it had felt lonely.

Ronin looked back at Savannah for a moment before he let off a soft little sigh. "We here in Japan have legends. One such legend is that of the kitsune." Ronin began to tell her the legend of the Kitsune, a fox demon, powerful when it grew to have nine tails. He finished the legend with a soft sigh. "Some of the kitsune are friendly spirits who wish a normal life but can never have one because their lovers usually wind up dying while the kitsune lives forever."

"Thats kinda sad." She said frowning as she saw the entrance to the temple. She knew that kitsunes were simply legends but it still made her feel sad.

Ronin gave a small nod. "It is sad." he agreed, taking the lead as he went back along the path that led up to the monastery where he had trained.

Savannah followed after him quietly as she lost herself in her own thoughts. She thought about the story he had just told her wishing it had a happier ending.

By the time they returned, it was time for lunch and he sat with the others outside quietly while he displayed Ava's favorite sushi.

Smiling Ava leaned on him lightly. "Did I ever tell you that you're my hero?" She said playfully. Moving over Savannah took a seat next to Kenneth and smiled at him. "Having fun?" She asked him smiling.

Kenneth chuckled while Ronin smiled at Ava's words. "Only once in a while."

Well I should tell you that more." She said smiling as she took the chopsticks that came with the sushi and took a bite. She smiled as she leaned on ronin. "Yea should really tell you more."

Ronin chuckled at Ava's actions and held her close for a moment before he took a bite of his own sushi. At this moment, Haru walked by, noticing briefly how happy these four were. Then his eyes found Savannah. There was just something about the girl that was linked with him. And he had to find out what it was. A look of realization crossed his face. He would make the Journey once again, like he had with Ronin when they had both found out about their dragon power.

Looking up Ava smiled. "Haru, watashitachi to issho ni tabe ni kite kudasai. Watashitachi wa anata ga nozomunara kyōyū suru koto ga dekimasu. (Haru, come eat with us. We can share if you want.)" Ava offered with a smile as she leaned on Ronin. Thinking for a moment she looked up atRonin. "Anata wa yoi shirase o kare ni itta nodesu ka? (Did you tell him about the good news?)" She asked smiling at him as she took another bite.

Ronin shook his head and blushed a deep color of red. He looked like a tomato. "I'll tell him in time." Haru swallowed. He wanted to join them, but something was tugging him to his Journey. He simply shook his head and smiled his thanks before calling to Ronin. He had to speak with his friend. Ronin nodded at the look in Haru's eyes and rose, but not before planting a kiss on Ava's head.

Ava nodded before going back to taking to Savannah and Kenneth. She did want to speak to Ronin later about making Haru the godfather to their child. Savannah sat close to Kenneth as she laughed and spoke to her new friends.
