Finding Strength (CLOSED)

Julian smirked as she immediately fell asleep, yet by the time he had laid down it did not take him long to fall asleep either. Michael was far gone and in a deep sleep. Evan and Kyle - who had heard the ordeal yet were in a seperate room - had laid out inflatable mattresses, pumping them full of air and falling asleep themselves.

Selena, as usual, had woken up early, mostly because her stomach had woken her up. She quietly slipped out of the bed, and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. Katherine, on the other hand, was dead to the world, and probably would be for the next few hours.

Calum had woken up shortly after, and, forgetting he slept in a hammock, tried to stand is if he was on a normal bed. He fell out with a loud thud, startling and waking Michael, who, upon realizing what happened, laughed.
"Shut it! You try an' sleep in one if ye can find one big 'nuff."
"Yer jus' jealous ah got the family name's height.".
The two teased back and forth, Kyle walking in to find the scene, which he founs utterly hilarious. He smiled lightly, and walked in to the kitchen, seeing Selina. He waved lightly, signing, "What are you making?"

Selena tried to figure out what Kyle was trying to say, but she didn't know sign.
"Ooh, wait, I got an idea!" She grabbed a pen and paper, and handed it to Kyle. "I'm sorry, Kyle, Katherine's the only one that can use sign language."

"No, I don't care... He started it!" Katherine was fast asleep, but the way she spoke in her sleep sounded otherwise. She went quiet for a bit, before she started again. "He's got a jelly donut..." After that, her words didn't make much sense.

Kyle sighed slighty and wroted his message he tried to sign - What are you making?. He scratched at his chin lightly, thinking. At that point, Calum entered, and upon seeing Kyle, said, "Mornin', Kyle. You good?". Kyle nodded, signing. "Good morning, and yes."

"Ah, yes... chocolate chip pancakes" Selena said with a chuckle before turning to the pan. She smiled as the pancake gently slipped out of the pan, and onto a plate. "Calum, would you mind checking on Kat? You know, make sure she hasn't snuck off in the night."

"Wait... Come back mister pancake! I swear, it was nothing with miss waffle" Katherine moaned in her sleep. Judging that she was speaking about food, she must've been hungry.

Calum nodded, heading off to Katherine's room. Upon getting to the door, he heard something about a waffle, and peeked in, slightly smiling. He said to himself, "Glad she's 'ight... 'ought give her a bit longer.". At that, he returned to the kitchen, saying, "Aye. Still here and talking in her sleep."

Selena chuckled slightly, having heard some of Katherine's sleeptalking before, she knew it could be quite entertaining.
"Poor dear... She only talks in her sleep when she's really tired, or if she's stressed. She usually just snores. Did you manage to make anything out?"

Calum shrugged. "Something about 'nothing with miss waffle', whatever that means. Probably something before that, but if there was, I didn't catch it at all.". He chuckled lightly, and Kyle held up his paper. Shes prob hungry. Wouldnt be surprised.. Calum nodded. "Likely.". At that moment, Julian finally arrived, the taste of sleep still in his mouth. "Hnn... Mornin', guys.". Kyle and Calum lightly waved in response.

"Definitly hungry" Selena said to Kyle, smiling. She gave Julian a hug, smiling As she did so. "Good morning." As the pancakes came off, the pan, she slipped them onto plates for everyone. She even piled some up on a plate for Katherine, and topping it with popcorn, syrup, and some cream. "A together breakfast for one" She said with a chuckle. She wondered if anyone would get the Steven Universe reference.

Michael was leaning up against the wall after he entered, just in time to hear Selina's last sentence. He smirked. "Huh. Didn' know ya watched that show. Bloody love it masel'.". He walked closer to everyone, Calum raising an eyebrow. "Didn' know you watched it either, Mikey.". He pointed an accusing finger, and said, "How many times have ye worked out to Stronger Than You and had the audacity to make fun of me for wantin' Ki Blasts?". Michael cleared his throat, saying, "I dunno what yer talkin' bout!" slightly nervously. Evan had entered to see the interesting argument, slightly taken aback by the innocence of this argument from ex-mortal enemies.

"I love it. Katherine says I'm like pearl, but when I told her she's just like amethyst, she almost lost her mind, in a good way." She turned to finish making the pancakes, humming the tune of Giant Woman to herself. "Let's just hope that thing doesn't try to kill us" Selena said with a chuckle as she pointed to the together breakfast.

Michael chuckled lightly, but otherwise said nothing. "Nice. Should one o' us get Kat, or d'ya reckon she'll be up soon 'nuff?". He eyed Michael lightly, smirking as he did so. Michael returned it, as he thought about the time he saw Calum tinkering with his own arms with a set of spare set on him.

"Yeah, someone needs to wake her up, otherwise, she'll sleep until four" Selena said with a chuckle. "Not it. I've done it before, and I did it the wrong way. You need to be gentle about it. It's sort of like waking up a dragon."

"Not- Michael began, before Calum interrupted.
"It. I'll get 'er.". At Michael's slight confusion, Calum walked off in the direction of Katherine's room.

He gently opened the door, making sure it didn't creak. Making his way up to her bed, he was still as quiet as possible. Once there, he gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Ey, Kat..." he whispered, "...Sel's makin' breakfast... Food, Kat..."

Katherine let out a moan, and pulled the duvet over her head.
"Nooo... Wait, breakfast?" Katherine popped her head out, smiling. "Morning, Cal" Katherine said happily before trying to free herself from her cocoon. Eventually she just rolled off the bed, landed on the floor with a rather loud thud, and stood up, still wearing her outfit. She immediately gave him a warm hug.

Calum returned the hug. "Mornin' sleepy-head. Even Julian woke up before ya.". He smirked a bit, and continued. "Selina made a together breakfast, so ya best hurry up now.". He let go of the hug, making his way back to the kitchen.

Katherine raced out of the bedroom, heading straight for the kitchen.
"Morning everyone" Katherine said happily before she saw her breakfast. She immediately grabbed a fork, and dug into it. "Oh my God, so good..."

Michael lightly smiled, eating off his plate at the moment. Julian, grabbing his, said, "There she is, woman of the hour!
Sleep well?". He began digging into his own plate, giving a thumbs up to Selina after a couple bites. Evan and Kyle stood to the side, Evan talking to Kyle quietly and Kyle nodding or shaking his head every now and then.

"Yeah, slept like the dead" Katherine said with a chuckle before taking a bite of her food, happy to get something in her belly. Selena handed a plate to each of the Assassins before turning to her plate. Selena looked at the two, wondering what they were on about.

The two assassins stopped their routine to take a few bites themselves, yet continued on eventually. Calum looked over at them, shrugging, before whispering to Selina, "They're probably discussing something silly. Don' worry bout them. Nice pancakes, by the way."

"Thanks, Calum" Selena answered before eating her food happily. Katherine somehow, ended up with a bit of cream on her nose, earning a small chuckle from Selena. "Kat, you've got a little something on your nose."
"Don't care... food first..." Katherine ploughed through her pile of pancakes, clearly quite hungry. As soon as she was done, she wiped the cream from her nose, and set about washing the dishes.

The rest had finished their own pancakes, setting their dishes together. "One o' the best breakfasts I've had In a while," Julian said, "used to have three bowls for breakfast, and one was cereal.". Calum chuckled lightly at that.
"Well, gotta 'gree with Jules on the food. Solid dish. What now?" he looked around the room, as if an answer would suddenly spring out.

"Aww, thanks guys. If we had bacon, I would've made bacon pancakes." Katherine stood quietly, washing the dishes, deep in thought. The whole reason she was going after Anatoli was because he almost killed Jack. Now she wished she had let him. Just thinking of Jack, she gripped the cup she had been washing tightly, causing it to break. She pulled a piece of the cup from her hand, and set it aside before continuing with the dishes.
"I really don't know what to do..."

Calum looked over, concerned. He walked up to her side, saying, "You 'ight? Thinkin' bought Anatoli, I 'sume?". He thought for a second, before realizing something. "Ah... Prolly thinkin' bout if he's worth goin' aftah, since yer motivation was 'im tryna kill Jack?". He looked at her suggestively, checking if he was correct.
