A Ninja's Reveng(closed)

Fiona fell asleep not long after him. She smiled as she cuddled up against him. She yawned as she sat up the next morning. It looked to be more afternoon than morning though

Ronin grunted and tugged at her arm. He wanted to remain asleep for a time but also wanted to hold onto Fiona.

Fiona smiled and laid back down. She curled up beside him and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

Ronin slept for a while longer before he opened his eyes and stretched.

Fiona yawned as well but rolled over so that her face was pressed into the pillow. She was conferable and didn't want to get up.

Ronin looked at Fiona and cuddled her for a moment.

Fiona smiled and sighed happily. She then opened her eyes and sighed. "We need to get going soon." She told him. "Should we buy some food from the market before we go?" She asked as she looked at him.

"Yea." Ronin said with a nod at Fiona before he got up out of bed and got dressed.

Fiona smiled as she began to get dressed as well. She smiled when she heard Claire playing outside with another assassin. "Claire looks like she's having fun." Fiona said with a smile as she finished dressing.

Ronin gave a small nod and smiled at the girl. "It's just a shame that we have to take her away from here." He said with a small sigh. "SHe's not used to moving around like this."

She will get used to traveling." Fiona assured him. "She wants to travel and learn so I'm sure she will be fine."

Ronin gave a small nod. He could only hope Fiona was right. Then something crossed his mind. He wanted Fiona in his life forever. Possibly as part of his family. He had to remember to buy her a ring later and ask her.

"Would you like to go to the market or should I?" She asked as she turned and smiled at Ronin before walking over to him.

"I'll go." Ronin said with a grin. "There's actually something I need to pick up from there."

Ah, alright then. Can you pick me up a bow and some arrows? I can't keep borrowing yours." She told him as she handed him a pouch full of money. "I should have enough in there for a bow and some arrows." She said smiling at him. "I'll get claire ready to go while your gone."

Ronin smiled and took the pouch of money before he planted a kiss on her nose and headed out to the town. The first stop he made was to a friend's shop. They spoke for a little bit before money was exchanged for a tiny black box. The man wished him luck and Ronin continued on his shopping spree. He bought her a custom made bow, like the one he'd gotten but with a more huntress feel. He bought that and a quiver full of arrows. Then he made his way back to the bureau and went around back to where the horses were tied. Luckily, he quickly tucked the black box into the saddle bag hanging from Sentinel's saddle before he approached Fiona with the bow and arrows.

Fiona was just walking outside with Claire to wait on Ronin's return but smiled when she saw him with the bow and quiver. "It's beautiful!" She said as she accepted the bow and quiver. "Thank you." She said as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug.

Ronin chuckled and hugged her back. "I also have something else for you but that's going to have to wait for a bit." He said softly, giving her a quiet kiss on the forehead before he motioned to Claire. "Ready to leave?"

Fiona smiled down at claire who smiled. "I'm ready! Where are we going now?" She asked looking up at him as Fiona fastened her quiver to her back before hooking her bow to it.

"Wherever the road takes us." Ronin said as he hoisted the girl onto Sentinel's saddle. He swung up behind her a few moments later.

Fiona smiled as she watched Ronin lift Claire into the saddle before climbing on after her. "We could head north and see what we can find out that way," Fiona suggested as she rode up beside him. "Unless you want to go in another direction?"

Ronin gave it some thought before he looked to the ground. His eyes changed for a moment as he stared at a golden trail. It was leading north. He grinned and looked at Fiona after a while. "North sounds good."

Fiona smiled as she began to ride north knowing he would catch up. She was glad he had seen what she had but then he was cleaver which was part of the reason she loved him so much but she didn't know how to tell him that. She wasn't sure if he felt exactly the same as she did about him. Claire sat happily in front of Ronin petting and scratching sentential quietly as she waited for Ronin to follow after Fiona.

Ronin clicked his tongue after adjusting his hood and mask. Sentinel knew that signal and immediately spun around to trot after Fiona's horse. He reached around and patted the saddle bag for a moment before he smiled. He would definitely be asking Fiona to marry him.

Smiling as they rode Fiona looked up and smiled. She could see the sun was beginning to go down now and they would need to find a safe place to sleep for the night but at least there weren't any clouds in the sky so they wouldn't be rained on in the middle of the night. She wanted to talk to Ronin once they did stop. Maybe she could tell him how she felt.
