"Relax, Sam, everything is going to be just fine" Elizabeth said softly as she gave Samuel's hand a reassuring squeeze as they neared Kenway's house.

What Elizabeth saw when they arrived at the house, could be considered a miracle. For the first time in what seemed forever, Rackham was sober.
"Kidd told us you had something to tell us, something important. Mind telling us what it is" Rackham asked as he draped an arm around Bonny's waist. Elizabeth looked at Samuel, and smiled.
"Samuel and I are engaged." A shocked silence filled the room as the pirates took a moment to process the news. Hornigold dropped his pipe in shock, he had thought that he still had a chance of winning Elizabeth back.
"You're getting married?! That's fantastic" Bonny squealed excitedly.
"Bloody hell! That is news" Rackham laughed as he grabbed a bottle of rum. Kenway lifted his tankard in the air, "A toast, to the happy couple!" The pirates raised their tankards and bottles in the air in toast, even Hornigold.

Sam seemed to blush rather hard, his face redder than a tomato. His hand seemed to tighten on that of Liz, though it wasn't by much, as he didn't want to hurt her. "The next full moon is when we're getting married," he added timidly, rubbing the back of his head before he tugged his hood over his face in an attempt to hide his embarrassment.

"That's exactly four nights from now!"
"I know" Elizabeth chuckled. Kenway had some of his men bring in some crates filled with bottles of rum for the celebration while Rackham and Hornigold shared a pipe. Elizabeth looked at Samuel, a smile creeping onto her face. "There's no need to feel embarrassed, Sam. They've done things that would make you pray for the earth to open up and swallow you whole." She grabbed a bottle of rum, looked at it in thought, and shook her head. "Anyone want a Rumfustian or a Rumflip?"

Sam chuckled nervously and then his voice seemed to drop. "Let's hope they don't do that today," he muttered quietly. He did seem embarrassed, and that wasn't easy for him. He couldn't remember a single moment when he was ever embarrassed.

"They won't, trust me. Now relax" Elizabeth chuckled before she kissed Samuel on the cheek, and made herself a Rumbullion. "We've decided when the wedding is going to happen, but where is another story." So far, that was the only important thing that they had forgotten about.

Sam looked curiously at Liz, taking a bottle of rum and uncorking it. He didn't say anything, hoping she'd say more. It turns out that he really enjoyed hearing her talk. Her voice soothed the Beast that raged inside him, just like an old fable he'd heard from his mother as a child. It really was something, that she could calm him. Slolwy, Sam sipped the bottle he'd grabbed.

Elizabeth "Demon" Shay

"Meet me on the roof, I have something to show you" Elizabeth said quietly before she walked outside, her blood-red robes swaying as she walked.

Elizabeth perched herself neatly on the edge of the roof, the soft moonlight caught her robes. This was the reason she hardly wore her Master robes, red offered little camouflage in darkness.

Samuel "Snakefang/Beast" Donnelly(don't ask. Lol)

"You look stunning, my beautiful gem," Sam said softly from behind her. That was a fast climb. Then again, he was a slick creature, as a snake would be. He slowly approached her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "You wanted to tell me something?"

"So be it" David spoke quietly. He waited for the drunken men to get close before he blocked their first attack with his sword and followed with a slash at the man's gut. He twisted and as he did that, his opposite hand's wrist blade popped out and he sliced the mans neck. He then finished that man off by forced his sword right in through his back.

He then ran at a nearby wall, ran halfway up it before he kicked off, aiming for the last templar. Both Wrist blades were now engaged as he landed on the man, both blades sinking into his neck as they both fell. David then front rolled off of him and came up kneeling.

He then strolled to the first man, unhinged his sword and sheathed it. he next closed both mans eyes and stated quietly "tkwn 'ela alslam and Requiescat en pace"

He then turned his attention to the woman and offered her a hand in helping up "Did they hurt you Lass?"

Elizabeth "Demon" Shay

"Thank you, my serpent" Elizabeth chuckled as she felt the warmth of his arms around her. She looked up at the stars, and smiled. "Remember what I told you, that night on the Benjamin, about what my mother used to say about the brightest stars?" A loving smile crept onto her face as she remembered her parents. "I know everyone calls it 'Orion', but mother called it 'Altaïr'" Elizabeth explained as she pointed to the constellation. "She used to say that the brightest stars, were the souls of the bravest warriors, immortalised for all to see. Their light serves as a reminder of all that they had done, to give others strength and hope. Last night, I noticed something. Look along Orion's belt, just between the brightest. It's feint, but it's still there."

"Oi, Damian. Found this for you" Rackham said as he handed Damian a bottle of whiskey, Scottish whiskey. "I figured a Scot would enjoy it more than I."

Damian looked o at Rackham, and grinned widely. "Ahh... Havn't tasted this since halfway through my trip here..." He took the bottle, and shook Rackham's hand. He took a quick swig of it, and grinned. "Reminds me of the first time I had it... sure, I spewed it out at first, it tasted horrible... but after a while..." He took another swig of it. "...it became the best drink there is."

The young lady looked up at him, though seemed to cringe when he offered her a hand. There looked to be something across her cheek. A bruise, maybe. And there, on her wrist, was another.

Sam nodded slowly, kissing her hair softly. "That's Thatch, isn't it?" He asked softly, nestling his head near her ear. He held her close to him as he stared up at the sky, to the constellation she was referring to. Yes, indeed that new star seemed very faint, but it was there.

David knelt beside the girl and gently removed his hood so his face was visable. The warm smile was clearly visible "It's okay Lass.. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm Captain Shuter of the Normandy. Let me escort you to somewhere safe" His eyes inspected her bruises and figured this woman could be harassed more if she was left on her own. He offered her his hand again and spoke softly "I'm just going to take you to my ship.. you can even sleep in the Captains cabin. My Crew are loyal and kind and will protect you with their lives. You will be safe" His Crew may have been Pirates.. but they were also loyal to the Assassins and would not harm her if he ordered her not to.

The young woman looked at his face. Her sea blue eyes trembling and filling with fresh tears. She closed her eyes and began to sob quietly. It was okay. Seeing kindness in this man's eyes was enough to give her the dignity to cry in front of him. And it even gave her enough to speak. "Those men wanted to--" She trailed off and threw herself against the Ghost's chest, her face burying deep in the materials of his robes.

(He's not an official Assassin just yet. If memory serves, he only gets accepted by Ah Tabai after Read's death. It might be covered in "May the Father of Understanding Guide Us".)

Jack "Calico Jack" Rackham

"The first time anyone tastes their first drink, they find it disgusting before they find it pleasant." For a man that spent the better part of his time at the bottom of a bottle, that said something.

Elizabeth "Demon" Shay

"Actually, I figured it was Fredric" Elizabeth said softly, hoping that hearing his brother's name would not cause Samuel any pain, "I didn't know any of them, but I like to believe that those four stars are your family and your mentor." Elizabeth looked over the ocean and smiled before she looked up, and pointed to a star near the tip of Orion's shield. It was almost as bright as 'Sirius'. "That man was a devil and a madman, but he was the bravest man I have ever known." Elizabeth laughed as she remembered her time with Thatch, the man who made all men submit.

(Good to know.. David will not be hunting him anymore XD Also yeah *feels like you should make her an offical character cause reasons XD*)

David froze. He was not accustomed to anyone touching him like this. He had not even hugged a person in so long.. was the last one Ezio? He could not remember. So he ended up saying softly "it's okay.. they can't hurt you anymore." He gently patted her back, still feeling very awkward.

At his brother's name, Sam felt a pain hit his chest. But Frederic had betrayed the Assassins when he killed that Assassin back in the Keys. Then he remembered the jewels he'd been carving out that were stashed in his captain's quarters of his ship that he needed to bring in. He'd taken to carving wolves for those he lost. His parents, mentor...and now his brother. "Hey..do you think you can help me with something? I had done something similar to you with wolf figurines, but I would also like to carry those close to me on my skin. A pack, if you will."

The woman seemed to calm the longer she was in his embrace, though it was awkward. Her body was sore all over, especially where the men's grip were the tightest. A wave of exhaustion washed over her body and she relaxed in his grasp. "Samantha," she whispered.

(DARKASSASSIN THE FACT THAT HER NAME IS SAMANTHA SCARES ME BECAUSE THAT WAS MY FIRST 'GIRLFRIEND''S NAME I GUESS SHE WASNT REALLY MY ACTUAL GIRLFRIEND BUT IT WAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND IF YOU DIDNT HAVE ONE YOU WERE A LOSER BUT STILL SHE TECHNICALLY WAS SO IT FREAKS ME OUT THATS HER NAME AND THAT SHE IS DAVID'S FIRST GIRLFRIEND.)

Now any normal man would have been like 'wait what?' But David was not dense, he knew she was obviously telling him her name "David" He stated quietly. He next asked her "Can you walk Samantha? It is only a matter of time before people discover what happened here.. and I would rather not be here when They do."

(Also first girlfriend on the site so far. I'm not going to have him remain single through 4 different eras XD )

Alyssa(awesome name change xD) didn't really know the answer to that question, so she stayed silent for a moment. "I don't know," she answered after a moment.

David shrugged "Then I will just have to carry you." He then let go of her to pull his hood back up before he bent down and gently picked her up.. Bridal style. He did not give the bodies any noticed as he set off at a steady pace for his ship.

Alyssa held tight to the man who'd saved him. Her eyes felt heavy and soon they were closed, her head resting against his arm. She felt oddly safe with him, safe enough to sleep. Though behind her eyes, darkness chased her.
