"And yet..." he began, pausing to take a pull from his pipe "I shared... everything with you." His voice cracked, and his breathing was shaky as he tried to keep himself and his emotions in check. His chest was heaving as he dealt with an onslaught of emotions. In that moment, he felt like the greatest fool in the world. "Do you believe that... telling me would've truly compromised the Assassins" Günther asked as he wiped his face before finishing his pipe. He wasn't angry with her, but he was certainly in a great deal of pain.

No, Gunther... I do not believe telling you would have compromised anything... I trust you but... I had to follow the rules..." She said looking down. She felt a great deal of guilt. "I am truly sorry for my description..." She said her own voice cracking as she fought back tears. She hated herself for hurting him and if she could go back she would tell him right away. "I understand if you want me to go... I never meant to hurt you... " She said as tears began to roll down her face.

"I do not want you to leave, Eden, I never have" Günther said as he finally rose to his feet and looked to her. While he had seriously considered leaving, he didn't have the heart to do it, to just leave her standing there in such a state. Not knowing what else to do, he simply hugged her. He felt betrayed, angry, hurt, foolish... hell at this point he didn't care if he died at the hands of an assassin or a Templar. Despite all of his feelings, he still didn't want to see her hurting.

She stood there for a long moment, contemplating leaving... She didn't really see a point in making her second confession so she simply stood there, silently crying before he hugged her. She froze for a moment before she began to sob. Wrapping her arms around him tightly she simply sobbed against him. "I'm so sorry..." Was all she could really say as she held onto him tightly.

"It's alright, Blumelein" Günther said softly as he held her against him before placing a soft kiss on the top of her head. "All my life I thought the Assassins were angels. It would seem I was wrong about them... und doch stehe ich hier ... ein Narr, der einen wahren Engel hält(and yet here I stand... a fool holding a true angel)"

She held onto him even tighter as she continued to cry, holding onto him as tightly as she could as she felt the kiss on the top of her head. "I'm no angel... No flower..." She said letting him know she could understand him. Her heart hurt as she began to calm down though she continued to cry. She felt worthless and unworthy of him now.

Günther tensed up at her words and staggered back as he realised that she understood him. He remembered everything he said about her... everything he said TO HER! Needless to say, the proud German had turned beet red with blush.
"Heilige scheisse(holy shit)..." Günther looked incredibly flustered and embarrassed by this new knowledge. "Du sprichst Deutsch?! Oh mein Gott... (you speak German?! Oh my God!) I... uh... how much of what I said in Nassau did you understand" he asked, sounding somewhat panicked. Throughout all of this, he seemed overwhelmingly excited.

She stayed where she was as she watched his reaction. When he asked how much she had understood while they were on Nassau. "Um... at the time you said those things I didn't... I recently acquired a translation book... I'm still learning though..." She admitted still blushing as she looked down at the ground. "I...I like the things you say to me..."

Günther stood there for a moment, his mind completely empty and her words lost on him... save for her last words. "I like the things you say to me...
"I meant every word" he said softly as he gently lifted her face to look at him. "Truly." He leaned down, searching her eyes with his own before placing a gentle kiss on her birthmark on her temple. It was his way of showing that he found her truly beautiful, especially with her birthmark. "Meine kleines Blümelein" he said softly.

Blushing even more she looked up at him, her eyes staring into hers as he spoke and kissed the birthmark on her face. "Your the only one to ever speak to me that way... I don't understand why but I hope you never stop... My second confession... Was to express my feelings towards you..." She said pausing as she stared into his eyes.

A warm smile crept onto Günther's face as he heard her second confession; her words brought him immense joy. It was no secret that he had feelings for her. Hell even a blind man could see it, and Eberhard would even tease his captain about his painfully obvious feelings.
"And I... have feelings for you too, meine blumelein" Günther said with a smile as he gazed lovingly into her eyes. He wanted nothing more than to lean down and kiss her, to show her just how much he truly cared for her.

Eden blushed almost as dark as the redish colored birthmark around her eye. "M-my eye doesn't bother you?..." She asked. "I know it isn't very flattering..." She said glancing away. She always had a hard time believing anyone could ever want her because of her birthmark.

"Of course not, Meine Schönste Blumelein(my most beautiful little flower)" Günther chuckled as he gently cupped her cheek and turned her face to look at him. "Why do you think I call you my Blumelein? It is part of you, and it makes you truly and uniquely beautiful." He looked at her with a softness in his eyes before he leaned down and kissed her tenderly as he held her close to him.

She looked up at him as he turned her head to look at him. Her eyes went wide and her body stiff as he kissed her. Closing her eyes she returned the kiss after a few moments, her arms wrapping around him once again. Once he pulled back she blushed hard, smiling shyly up at him. "That was my first kiss..."

Günther blushed and immediately felt embarrassed by what he had done. However, he still held her against him with a loving smile on his face.
"I apologise for stealing it from you, Blumelein, but... it was the only way I could think to show you how beautiful you are to me... how much you mean to me" Günther said with a nervous smile. "DU IDIOT! WARUM HAST DU NICHT ZUERST GEFRAGT?!(you idiot! Why didn't you ask first)" he thought to himself, mentally beating himself up for his stupidity.

Eden smiled up at him and shook her head. "It's alright... I liked it. Maybe you'll do it again sometime?" She asked blushing deeply. She had little confidence and zero experience with the opposite sex. "I am sorry for not telling you the truth..." She said still feeling guilty for earlier. She had a habit of blaming herself for anything that could go wrong around her.

Günther held her close, and rested his chin on the top of her head as he smiled warmly.
"Perhaps. Although next time I believe I should ask first" he chuckled before looking down at her with a massive stupid smile. "And it's alright. I truly apologise for my reaction, for hurting you with my behaviour. I never intended to make you cry."

She smiled and nodded. "I...I was afraid..." She said looking down. "I was afraid I had lost you..." She admitted. "I cry when I feel like something is my fault and... I feel like a lot of things are my fault... I'm sorry..."

"Nothing you say would ever cause you to lose me, Blumelein" Günther said softly as he looked to Eden with soft eyes. "And... it was not your fault." He wouldn't say it, but Günther found it difficult to trust people, and even though she she had broken that trust by hiding information, he loved her nonetheless.

"I can promise you that now that you know I can be honest now... I can answer any questions you may have about my brotherhood and myself... I swear never to lie or withhold information from you again." She said looking up at him. She still felt terrible but she was determined to win back his trust.

Günther stood in thought for a moment, trying to think of any questions he could in that moment. Unfortunately he really he only had one in that moment.
"I can only think of one for now. How are the Assassins different than the Templars" Günther asked curiously as he looked down to Eden.

We both know what the Templars want. They want peace for the world but they would rather put people in gilded cages, taking away their freedom to make their own choices... We assassins want the same thing but we believe this can only be achieved through freedom... That will never happen however as long as the Templars exist..." She explained as she looked up at him. "When the time comes are you willing to meet with our Mentor?" She asked

Günther stood in quiet thought for a moment, trying to understand something about what she had said. He found it odd that they worked in the name of freedom, yet they had little of it themselves.
"When the time comes, possibly. However, I do wish to gather more information on the Assassins before the meeting." Günther looked down at Eden, and smiled when he thought of another question. "Is it true that the Assassins kill from above" he asked curiously.

Eden nodded at his answer but his question made her smile. "We do, you saw me do it when I killed the boar back on Nassau." She answered with a smile. "When I have a new target I'll bring you with me so you can see." She said smiling up at him.

"We both did" Günther chuckled as he remembered their brief hunt together back in Nassau. "And I would be honoured to accompany on your next Templar hunt. It has always been a dream of mine to witness an Assassin taking down a Templar. Although I never imagined the Assassin would be die schönste Frau der Welt(the most beautiful woman in the world)" he said as he looked down at Eden with a warm smile.
