The Bloodstained Wolf

Looking up she smiled and walked over. Sitting down by him she ordered a drink. "Good morning. How are you enjoying Nassau?" She asked as she took a drink. She smiled and took a drink.

"Oh I love it, this island is wunderbar! We are not afforded such... liberties as this town has to offer" Eberhard chuckled before taking a sip of his ale. "I should probably inform Herr Steinhauer of your return. He has missed you a great deal." It was safe to say Eberhard hadn't made it back to the ship that night and had most likely slept at the brothel.

He knows i've returned. We spoke some last night and it made me happy to see how happy he was to see me." She said smiling as she took another drink. "I'm sorry for being gone so long but I needed to go speak to my mentor..." She said remembering he had known she was an assassin.

"I wish to thank you, Fräulein. I have not seen Herr Steinhauer smile since he arrived at my monastery, but you bring him nothing but joy." Eberhard sipped at his ale, thinking quietly on her words. "I'm assuming you needed to speak with him about the arrival of our Order. May I ask what his opinion was?"

She smiled a little as he told her how happy she made Gunther. "It makes me happy that I make him happy... I truly do like Gunther." She said smiling happily. "He is unsure... I mentioned an alliance and a friend of mind did as well but I need more information before he can come to a decision." She said smiling as she took a drink.

"I believe an alliance would be beneficial to our Order, and your brotherhood. After all, we share a common goal. I do hope our presence in the West-Indies is not considered a threat to your people" Eberhard said before he took a sip of his drink. He watched as Günther quietly shuffle past the pub, still half asleep and making his way to his ship to prepare for the day. "We've set up in the old church up the road, although that might be temporary."

I do not believe my Mentor wants conflict... He is a good leader and worries for his people. I was sure to tell him my thoughts and I believe my friend did the same. We also believe an alliance would be beneficial to both of our factions." She said as she turned to watch Gunther walk by. She smiled as she watched him for a moment. "I heard, Gunther wanted to show me what you all have done with the old church. I'm excited to see."

"This is good to hear. We simply do not yet have the numbers for a full fledged conflict, thus we do not wish it" Eberhard said as he scratched his head. He finished his ale before ordering another two, one for himself and one for Günther should he arrive. "I'm afraid Günther knows nothing of the Brotherhood other than the stories. The German Brotherhood fell when we were just boys. However... he does possess some of the skills your Brotherhood is infamous for. As for the church... we hope you will approve of it."

Gunther has had Assassin training?" She asked curiously. "That's interesting... May I ask how you know of the brotherhood?" She asked, having wanted to know since she met the man. "It's rare that someone recognizes someone from our brotherhood unless they've had contact with us in the past."

"He has had very little training, although it is nothing spectacular." Eberhard paused and took a sip of his drink before handing Eden the remains of an Assassin Mentor's ring. "As for why I know of the brotherhood... My father was the last of the German brotherhood. As for why Günther has training... that was taught to him by my grandmother during our pilgrimage to Jerusalem."

She looked sad as she looked at the ring, frowning. "That's very sad... My mentor will want to know this information... You should be a part of the brotherhood. I promise to do all I can to make this alliance a reality..." She said handing him the ring back. "Once I have the information I need I will need to speak to my Mentor once again... He will then likely send me the Meeting details." She explained as she took a drink. "He wants you to be there as well."

"It is simply the reality of life. Perhaps I will return to the brotherhood one day, but for now my allegiance is to Herr Steinhauer and his Order." Eberhard sat in thought for a moment, considering a wild idea. "What information is it that you need, Fräulein?"

She nodded and explained what she needed before she could return back to her Mentor. "I plan to speak with Gunther aswell. I am truly fascinated by your order and wish to learn more... Not just for the brotherhood but for myself... We did not even know of the existence of your order until I ran into Gunther..."

Eberhard leaned back in his chair, listening to Eden speak, and considered her mission as he sipped at his ale.
"I will put together the information you need, as well is some other information that I believe will be beneficial to you personally" Eberhard said before finishing his ale and heading off to the ship.

Günther finally made his way to the pub, and smiled upon seeing Eden.
"Guten morgen, Eden" he said with a beaming smile as he took the tankard of ale Eberhard had ordered for him. "I trust Eberhard has been good to you" he chuckled before taking a sip of his ale.

She nodded and thanked him before he began to make his way back to his ship. She looked up as Gunther said good morning to her. "Good morning Gunther!" She said happily as he made his way over to her. "Yes, we were just talking about how much he likes it here on Nassau." She said smiling brightly at him. "How did you sleep?" She asked before taking a drink.

"Ah, glad to hear it. Perhaps he wouldn't mind us staying here a bit longer then" Günther chuckled before sipping at his ale. He pulled a bit of a face which showed he didn't much like the taste of the ale. "Finally had a decent sleep for the first time in a month." He looked at her for a moment, smiling before remembering the events of the night. "Did you get any more sleep? And... apologies for my behaviour."

I'm very happy to hear that... You deserve more rest." She told him with a smile. "I did go back to sleep and had a fairly peaceful sleep at that. How long do you intend to stay?" She asked, suddenly realizing she didn't want him to leave. "I do hope you'll stay awhile longer... and you have no reason to apologize." She said smiling again. "I'm looking forward to seeing the church as well."

"I will certainly try to rest more, although that is entirely up to the ghosts" Günther said with a sigh before looking to Eden with a small smile. "I'll be here for another week, however it would seem we're in need of supplies for the church... and decent ale." Of course he didn't want to leave her, definitely not after he'd just gotten her back. Günther sat in thought for a moment as he sipped his ale before looking to Eden. "Perhaps you might do me the honour of sailing with me, Eden? You know these lands better than I, and... well... it would be wonderful to spend some time in your company."

You should tell those ghosts to be silent... When you rest should be up to you..." She said returning his smile. She tried to show her disappointment. "Is there any way I could convince you to stay for a while longer... I would be happy to help with the church if you would like me to help with supplies? I'm always happy to help." She told him smiling brightly.

"You need not convince me to stay longer, Eden. If anything, you'd have to convince me to leave" Günther chuckled as he pulled out some paper. He definitely wasn't going to leave, not unless the devil himself dragged him away or his presence put Eden in danger. "We just need the basics. Medicines, various healing herbs and such if we're to turn that church into a permanent operation."

The word permanent brought a happy smile to her face. "Thats wonderful!" She said before taking a moment to calm herself. "Sorry... I'm just very happy you'll be staying." She said still smiling. "When were you thinking of leaving?" She asked. "I will need to tell my friends before I leave so they don't worry so much."

Günther couldn't help but chuckle at her outburst of joy.
"No need to apologise, Eden. Such moments of joy always welcome these days" Günther chuckled before finishing his ale. He sat in thought for a moment, trying to figure out what the best plan of action would be. "I'm sure you must be tired of the ocean by now, so... in two days? I belive that would give you some time to rest. That and I would very much like to explore this island with you."

That sounds perfect." She said still smiling brightly. "Would you like to show me the church now? I'm interested to see what you've done with it." Finishing her drink she stood up and smiled. "Maybe after we can do some exploring?"

About that time Fia came stumbling, half awake down to the pub. Ordering herself a bottle she found a seat near by. She was by no means a morning person but she had a job to do and she needed to get it done.

"Gladly. I do hope you'll be pleased with what we've done so far" Günther said with a smile as he stood up and stretched. He watched Fiadh come stumbling along to the pub, and couldn't help but chuckle. "Guten morgen, Fräulein Mürrisch" he said jokingly before turning his full attention to Eden. "It's nowhere near perfect, but it's good enough for now" Günther said with a small smile as he started leading the way up to the old church.

Eden smiled and nodded. "I'm very excited to see..." She said watching a younger man making his way over to Fia. "Oh no..." She said quietly before smiling up at Gunther. "There's going to be a fight..." She said making sure there was plenty of space between them and Fia. "Maybe we should go ahead?" She didn't seem worried about Fia at all. She knew Fia would be able to handle the man.

Fia mumbled something incoherent before taking a drink. It would take her a moment to wake up fully. Most knew to leave her be however some who might have been newer to the island hadn't learned their lesson as a young man decided to sit beside her and wrap his arm around her shoulder as if she were his. Saying nothing she removed his arm before pushing him further away with her leg. The man said something and went to try to touch her again. As soon as she felt his hand on her she punched the man in the nose hard, breaking it.
