Name: Devin Butcher
(Edit - I'm using 1776 as a point of refrence for time.)
Age:29
Affiliation: Templar
Appearance: Standing at a firm 6'7, Devin normally wears Templar armor that was outfitted for him a few years back, and for casual wear, simple clothes. However, no matter his attire, formal or not, he wears leather armor underneath, so he akways has some form of protection. Aswell, his hair is a sandy blonde, given frommhis motherm with somewhat gray eyes. His face is also rather scarred with small cuts, due to previous missions.
Personality: A man of ruthelessness, Devin has been infamous by assassins by his lack of sorrow. He rarely cares for those he kills for a goal, and will kill any just for it. Yet, when somebody gets to know him well enough, he can be one of the best friends you know, as well as a powerful ally.
Favorite Weapons:A simple sabre, along with dual pistols, which he had dubbed, 'Justice', the other, 'Protection'.
Strengths: For his years of exoerience, he had not only become wise in his knowledge of typical hiding places of Assassins and their tactis, he also is known to show great intellect on the battle field. Whether it be using the environment, or simply sending men to a weak spot in defenses, he can find it. Due to these actions, he had been leader of a small group of Templars, yet he normally hands them off to another man of near equal rank.
Weaknesses: For his ruthelessness and lack of remorse, he would, as many know, go to any lengths. This has resulted in being shunned from some towns, and almost being abandoned by the Templars themselfs, for he showed a bad image of the Templars. However, since he is so skilled in his mind, and he is aswell, he is very cocky, and will sometimes monolouge, letting a lone enemy or target know what a failure they are, and how they should have never joined the Assassins. He is also easily angered, as shown by him 'accidently' shoving a fellow Templar outside a window for becoming too much of a pest.
Background/Biography:The son of Wulfric Butcher, he is also the Grandson of Jonathon Butcher, one half of the semi-infamous 'Butcher Brothers' in the West Indies. Devin was born in 1753, a somewhat hard part in time for the Assassins, due to Shay Patrick Cormac.
Growing up in southern America, he lived a quaint life. Normally, at the age mark of 13-17, he spent free time by either reading, or observing the birds, or even playing a bit with their dog, who they had named Wallace.
Inducted into the order at the age of 16, Devin quicky rose in fame in the southern Templars, and in equal infamy for the Assassins there aswell. At the age of 19, he was seen rightly to be given a special task - that one, of raiding an Assassin base, along with 20 men. However, as they raided the base, Devin ran for the Mentor, whom was fleeing with his best students. He did not get a chance to catch up, and, in the end, was cornered by more Assassins, who, gave Devin the confirmation, that the other men were dead and killed.
Afterwards, the Assassins took Devin back to their ruined base, and interrogated him - tortuing him, even, - all for information. He said nothing, and that is rpthe result of many of his scars.
Five years later, after a incident with a large group Assassins, he was forced to flee his old base, with no wore, as he looked back on horseback, seeing the building burn and crumble.
Four years later, he had become rising in fame and infamy in the northern Templars and Assassins. He became one of the best, and, in recent word, he had heard very unsettling news - Damian Butcher, along with his Grandson Timothy Butcher, were in the Northern colonies.
