Dionysus Kalfas This Time By: The Verve
Since Dionysus Kalfas is a character who aims to be a better person each day and constantly trying to prove his worth to everyone that he encounters, I think that this song suits him perfectly. When Richard Aschroft changes the lyrics from "I'm gonna see the light." to "I'm gonna be the light." at the near end of the song, it really encapsulates my character's state of mind. Instead of seeing someone else change the world he opted to change it himself, no matter how hard the struggle would be. Even with all his wounds, all the lost he had experienced, all the suffering, he still believes that "this time" everything will change for the greater good through his own making.
Dixie "The Turtle" Dewl God By: John Lennon
Dixie Dewl is a man who has abandoned all of his faith. He is a man of science and only that. He does not need to pray for help for he is aware of his own capabilities and has high confidence in his own self. Everything that is beyond reasoning, everything that is dogma, he rejects without a second thought. Just like the song, this character of mine is upfront, sardonic and full of ego. Not afraid of saying his opinions even if they are not of the norm or against the status quo.

John Albot Hargreeves a.k.a Spring-Heeled Jack Evil By: Interpol
It's a song about Fred West, it describes the madness of a serial killer's mind. A lack of moral compass and countless justifications to his misdeeds. Apt for my latest character.
