The Ghost and The Shadow (closed)

David almost chuckled at her reaction. It had been a long time since his first time, and could hardly remember it. He just felt honored that she would let him be a part of her first time.

(And time skip)

A few hours later, Alyssa had prepared herself for Her mission. She had to be on her guard if she was to do this properly.

(I can't even remember now what the mission was...)

(Kill the templar and his supplier

David came up behind her, in his full Assassin garb "You ready for this?"

Alyssa nodded slowly, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves. "As I'll ever be," she responded softly, letting the wind caress her face for a few moments.

(late response is late)

David nodded and said softly "It gets easier after a while.. it gets routine. The Killing is harder after the fact, yet the nervousness goes away."

Alyssa nodded slowly at his words. She turned to look at him for a moment and gave a very tiny smile. It was a smile that told of her nervousness. She wasn't nervous about killing. Instead, it was of being found out and caught. Since her time with David, Alyssa had read books of the Assassin history, of how many Brothers and sisters were found by the Templars and killed.

David gave her a small smile and said softly, sensing her fears "I Will always be here to protect you.. the Templars can't touch you with me around.. I've killed too many of them" He then admired his wrist blade to prove a point, that which had taken so many lives of the templars.

Alyssa chuckled quietly and took a breath. "Well," she said softly, watching the port for a moment. "Shall we go?"

David nodded "I see no reason in staying, unless you want to kill ALL the guards." He smiled at her before turning and heading towards the Normandy.

Alyssa couldn't help but laugh and tugged her hood over her face a little more. "Then come on," she said, her voice dropping slightly. "The trail leads this way." The way she said that made it sound like she could see a trail that wasn't there. Could she possibly have the Sight? No time to think about that now. Alyssa ran along the rooftops, keeping her head low to avoid detection by the guards that milled about on the ground. She slid down a slanted roof and fell into a pile of hay, where she quickly exited and made a dash for the trees.

David smiled softly and followed after her. For a moment he mourned for the girl he had first met, the one he had saved from a terrible fate. The one he had first fallen for. He then rejoiced for the strong woman she had become. He was honored to call her a Sister... and maybe even his future wife, although he knew that could never last. He would live until the day he was killed, and she would die within the next 80 years... unless he could find a piece of eden like his to give to her.. he would have to think on that more. (we gotta talk about that btw)

When she dove off the building David opted for the easier route. With a flick of his wrist he ejected the curved blade he had gotten all so long ago and ziplined to the ground. he then kept running, expecting Alyssa to catch up

Alyssa reached the trees and sprang up the nearest one, using her speed and momentum to continued through the trees, following that invisible trail she could see as clear as day.

David let loose a chuckle as he allowed her to take the lead. Let her test her skills. She would need them for David could not be there to protect her all the time. Sometimes the demands of the Brotherhood meant they would have to split up, though it would be rare as they were both crew of the Normandy

Alyssa continued through the trees, swerving when the trail she could see did and slowing down when she had to double back to reobtain the direction it was going. The sounds of the ocean on the other side of the trees rose up to greet her and she soon halted, the treeline in front of her and the stretch of white sand meeting foliage. There was a ship harbored a good ways out to sea while a smaller boat was moored on the beach. The men she needed must be nearby.
