The Arrow Strikes

Alexandria nodded, understand how her Brother felt. After all being an Assassin isn't happy and rainbows. She too has injured herself a couple of times due to mission and sometimes training. "It's good then. It means that the wound is healing." She said, "I should be going now. I wish you a fast recovery, Angelo." The female Assassin left the Sanctuary and went to her room to catch some sleep.

Angelo nodded and proceeded to eat his food while Ezio stood up. "Didn't you have a missione to turn in?" Angelo nodded and grabbed the parchment from where he'd hidden it and handed it over to Ezio.
"The man who attacked my madre is dead," he stated simply. Ezio merely nodded and walked away from Angelo, leaving him to his food.

Alexandria laid on her bed and deeply breathe as she stared at the ceiling. She scowled remembering the Templar who had hurt Angelo. It's rather fortunate of him to have been killed by her, if not he would face her most painful interrogation and she is certain the Templar would not survive. Realizing of what she had thought, she blushed while thinking, 'Did I just thought of Angelo? Oh dear... I think I fell for him...'

She blush crimson red at the realization. It was rather fortunate she is in her room or else someone might see her and wondering what made her blush so red.

Angelo had finished with his meal and now laid back on the sofa in thought, his eyes drifting shut for a moment. He'd thought back to when Alexandria had aided him in killing the Templar general who had made Roma unsafe for his mother and how well Alex had responded to orders. Realizing what he'd been thinking, he stirred uncomfortably where he lay for a moment.

Alexandria shook herself from her blush. Even if she did fall for Angelo, she doubted that he would except her feelings. After all, who would want an unstable woman as their girlfriend. Then again... He did manage to reach out for her when AL was in control of her body.

She sighed and lay down on the bed, her right hand covered her eyes as she try to relax herself. The quietness and the warmth of the room makes her eyes heavy and finally she falls into deep sleep.

Weeks had passed. Angelo had moved himself to his quarters within the sanctuary, as many of the others had been complaining about him always being on the couch. He was asleep in his bed, the covers up to his chin. Today, the Healer would determine if the wound was fully healed from his swordplay fight with a few Templars a few weeks back.

Weeks had passed and Allen was busy as ever with injured Asassins thats in his infirmary. Most of them were injured due to training and maybe sometimes mission. Ah, the life of an Assassin is always a dangerous one.

He looked at his chart to see whom he'll be seeing today. The doctor saw Angelo's name on it and remember he had been injured a couple weeks prior. Today is the day to determine if he is fit enough to go back on doing missione. He grab his healer kit and went to Angelo's room. Once arrived, he knocked on the door, "Angelo, I'm here to asses your wound." The doctor said and waited patiently for Angelo to open his door.

Upon hearing the knock at his door, Angelo groaned in response and shifted his blanket a few times before he rested back against the bed. "Basta qualche minuto!"(Just a few more minutes) He grunted before turning his face into the pillow. That was his way of telling the medic to enter, if anything. Angelo was always like this whenever he got injured or sick. Always wanting a few more minutes to sleep, but no one had ever given into his plea for more sleep.

Allen chuckled, clearly amused by Angelo's reply. He had been treating the Assassins long enough to learn their behaviour during their recovery. Judging by the way Angelo grunted, the doctor knew the injured Assassin had been sleeping before he had knock the door. He opened the door and sees Angelo with his face deep into the pillow.

He smiled and said, "Now are you ready for your check up, Angelo?"

Angelo gave a quiet sigh that was quickly followed by a groan. However, he knew he'd get an earful if he didn't cooperate soon, so he forced himself into a sit up, the blanket falling around his lap. His chest was bare and revealed all the well-chiselled muscles, developed by his Assassin training when he joined, no doubt. He rubbed his face for a moment and then blinked up at Allen, running a hand through his messy hair. "Have at it," he said sleepily, stretching his arms above his head and giving a yawn.

Allen chuckled at his sleepy reply. He wasted no time open up the bandage that covered up the stitches. Once the bandage was fully out, he observe and check the stitches that held the wound at bay. He gave a slight brushes on the stitches just to see if it still causing pain to Angelo.

Angelo shifted, though not because of pain. "That feels strange," he rumbled. "Are they supposed to feel that way?"

"Yes. I am happy to say your wound have healed completely. The stitches here." Allen said, touching it lightly, "Will dissolve on its own in a week times. You may take the missions now and your restriction on light training is hereby lifted and yes you can ride your horses back."

At hearing that he could finally ride his stallion again, Angelo's face lit up. "Gracie, Allen," he said with a nod to the healer. "You have certainly done your Mentor proud. I know she would tell you herself if she could." Angelo had known the Healer prior to Allen. She'd tended his wounds once before, on the day Ezio took him to the Brotherhood. She'd gone out on her own mission, leaving her apprentice, Allen, behind to study. When she didn't return, the Assassins grew restless and Ezio finally sent out a search party a month after her disappearance.

News had come back to them that she was dead, her body discovered dumped in the water just outside of the city. Allen had been left the Assassin's healer in her place, though he was still a student at the time. Angelo had often seen the Healer studying the book of herbs when he didn't have anyone to tend to. "You've certainly grown, mi amico."

"Grazie, Angelo. Yes, you are right. If Mentore Angelica is still here, she'll be proud of what had I become today. How I wish she is alive." Allen said wishfully as he packed his kit, getting ready to go back to the infirmary. "Well, I shall leave you with your rest now. Avere un buon riposo." [Have a good rest] Allen bowed before leaving the Assassin to his rest and he went back to his infirmary.

Angelo flopped back onto the bed and stared at the ceiling for a while before he stirred and reached over for a book that was sitting on his nightstand. He flipped it open to the chapter he'd been reading and continued on for a while before he tossed it over to the stand. With a sigh, he got up out of bed and dressed in his Assassin's attire before heading out into the main area. He spotted the desk and immediately began to shift through the letters, trying to find one that would catch his interest. He hadn't been out in so long that he needed to exercise his muscles.

Alexandria was carrying a stack of books she had been borrowing from the shelves for some light reading when she is bored. She head to the main area and was surprised to see Angelo already up and running. It seems that he is looking for a mission to do. "Angelo. Already up and running? Did Allen already give you an a okay for you to do the missions?" She asked, putting the books on the empty table.

Upon hearing Alexandria's voice, Angelo felt his heart lighten and a small smile appeared across his face. He seemed to be beaming when he looked up at her. "Si," he said with a nod, returning his gaze to the pile of letters. "I'm just trying to find an interessante missione."(interesting mission)

"Ah, I see." Alexandria nodded. "Speaking of interesting mission, I have acquired one yesterday. I am task to assassinate a pair of twin Templar." She said as she took out a letter from her pocket and held it between her fingers. "Are you up for it?"

Angelo seemed to freeze for a few moments before he calmly took the letter and began to read its contents. His face seemed to beam and he handed the letter back to her with a nod. "Facciamolo,"(let's do it)

"Fantastico!" Alexandria grinned, "Meet me by the stable once you get ready. I'll be waiting." She said and left Angelo to go back to her room to get herself ready properly.

Angelo chuckled and moved off to his own room. He may have dressed in his robes, but he'd failed to arm himself. Why need weapons when you're surrounded by comrades? Angelo grabbed his bow and arrow, strapping each around his back and shifting the strap for the quiver in the front as well as the bow-string. Then he grabbed his short-sword, tying the scabbard to his belt before he slipped into his hidden blades and making sure they were on good and tight. After securing his weapons, Angelo flipped up his hood and snuggled the cloth mask around his face so that he was mostly concealed. With a nod, he exited his room and stood by the door to the Sanctuary, waiting his friend and partner.

Alexandria entered her room and looked at the weapons lay bare on the table. She equipped all of them to designated places and before she went out of her room, she flicked the hidden blade making sure they are functional. Once she is fully equipped and her hood has been flipped, she went to the entrance of the Sanctuary where Angelo has been waiting.

Angelo gave her a nod and a smile before he headed out of the sanctuary and over to the stable, where his black stallion snorted in greeting. "I know," he said, taking the animal's head in his hands. "I was gone too long."

"Your horse truly miss you, Angelo. He often gives trouble to our Brother when he was on horse duty." Alexandria laughed softly remembering how the horse act a few days ago when she was grooming Sakura as she followed Angelo to the stable.
