The Vampire's Rise

Haemon's smile got bigger and he snuggled his face against her shoulder. Finally. He was going to be a father. And it was thanks to what he'd given her father. He was going to enjoy having a full family.

Lilith fell asleep after a little while, she was so comfy, happy, and tired. It had been a long day, and she had been incredibly busy. Lilith only woke up when her stomach rather aggressively demanded to be fed.

Haemon grunted when she woke up and snuggled against her for a moment longer before he released her reluctantly and sat up, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. "What would you like for dinner?" He asked.

"I don't really know. Fruit, and cheese" Lilith said with a yawn. She stretched, and stood up where she stretched again. "I think I have some leftover cake from earlier... Anything you want?"

"Cake and fruit." Haemon said, still rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"Alright then" Lilith said with a soft laugh. She disappeared into the kitchen before emerging a few minutes later with a basket of fruit, and two large slices of cake. "Dinner is served." Lilith plopped down next to Haemon, kissed him on the cheek, and set the food down before them.

Haemon picked up a slice of cake and took a bite before he began to grab some fruit. He was still tired but awake enough to eat. "I think that I will be happy if it's a girl or a boy." He said with a grin.

"As long as it's healthy, I'm happy" Lilith said with a smile before she bit into an apple. The cake didn't even stand a chance.

"It'll be healthy." Haemon assured her with a smile, taking a bite of cake again. In his head, he silently thanked Lucifer. This was going to be great. He was marrying Lilith sometime next month and they'll have a child in eight more after their wedding. He was looking forward to being a father.

Lilith simply nodded, and devoured what was left of her slice of cake. Once the cake was gone, Lilith slowed down and began to eat some fruit.
"I just don't know how my hunting will affect the baby... The hunger is still there, but much less than it normally is."

Haemon looked over at his fiancé and finished off his cake before he settled on some fruit. "Well. I can keep you sustained on my blood and see how it affects your body. If you reject it, then the baby will probably not like it at all. However, if it's like either of us, your body will continue to keep the blood and the baby will possibly develop with that thirst. Possibly." He said the last bit as he took a bite of an apple.

"That would be the best course of action. Considering what we are, Demon, Succubus, and werewolf, this baby isn't likely to be a normal human. This baby will likely be a force to be reckoned with." Lilith held a hand on her stomach, and smiled before she took another bite of her fruit.

Haemon chuckled quietly and leaned over to kiss Lilith. "The child will be a force to be reckoned with. With Assassin and Templar training and we being what we are..." A dark grin spread across his face as he thought of the fear that his son would strike into the hearts of many, Templar, Assassin and civilian alike.

"That's for certain" Lilith said with a smile. She just wanted the best for her child. Lilith took another bite of her fruit, and thought carefully. "I really want my father to be at our wedding... Is that alright with you?"

"Sure." Haemon said with a grin in her direction. "Who would deny a father to see his daughter's wedding?"

"Thank you, Haemon. He'll be on his best behaviour, I promise" Lilith said happily as she hugged her fiancé. She sat back, and finished her fruit happily.

Haemon gave her a kiss on the cheek before he finished off his own fruit and snuggled back down into the pillow pile. He was comfortable, happy and full. This was going to be the best day of his life when they actually got married.

Lilith gathered everything, and headed off to the kitchen. She cleaned everything up, and returned to the living room.
"Why don't we head upstairs, clean up, and go to bed" Lilith asked with a yawn.

Haemon nodded and pulled himself up off the pile of pillows before he headed upstairs to get ready for bed. Really, all he did was pull off his shirt and wash up before he crawled under the sheets.

Lilith followed Haemon upstairs, and washed up before diving under the sheets. She was exhausted. It wasn't long before she passed out.

The air was cooler and Haemon was currently with Donahue preparing himself for the wedding. It was going to be small but with the Templars and Lilith's father. There literally was no one for Haemon to witness his big day. Perhaps he should send word to the Assassins that he was married now with a child on the way. Nah. That was a bad idea. All the ideas of this day was in his head and he was nervous.

Donahue and Morrigan had at least two guards to each of them, and Lilith had insisted that there be two guards for Haemon too. De Sable himself was in attendance with at least ten guards, and a further fourty around the courtyard.

"Are you ready for this, my beloved daughter?"
"Yes, daddy" Lilith said happily as she hugged her father. Lucifer nodded before taking Lilith by the hand, and leading her outside to the courtyard. They were followed by two Templar guards, and four demon guards in human form.

Lilith smiled at Haemon as she was led along to her husband. She was wearing an elegant grey dress, with a red sash. Upon reaching Haemon, Lucifer kissed his daughter softly, and handed her to Haemon.

(We can skip all the boring bits unless the Assassins crashing the wedding sounds like a good idea to you.)

(Meh, I had an idea for a sniper to snipe someone and put them in the infirmary and then kill the sniper immediately lol but nah...)

Haemon took Lilith's hand, gave it a little kiss and turned around to the one marrying them off.

Fades to black....

After everything was said and done, Haemon put a hand on the knife to cut the cake and looked to Lilith. He was waiting for her to tell him she was ready to cut the cake for everyone.

Lilith smiled, and placed her hand on her husband's before pressing down on the knife, cutting through the cake. She was so happy that she was finally married, that she had a family.

At that point, every Templar soldier there cheered and as soon as Haemon dished out his and his wife's cake, everyone else was gratefully grabbing a slice. Haemon was so happy.
