Wolfborne (closed)

She sighed after a moment when he told him she still had to rest. He was right, the medicine had to work on her before she could do anything. Shaeem softly nodded at him before she realized she was right: he really did care about her way more than any others she had encountered. Her Mentor was a carrying person, of course. He had saved her from being a nothing, or even a corpse, in the cruel New World. But somehow, it still felt like a distant person, being there to train her more than to comfort her. The rumor of her being the Ghost Girl had been spread by her Mentor himself. If she could scare the enemy before they could even see her, she had advantage. And she looked everything like a ghost with her deep empty crystal eyes and her long black hair: she just needed to be pale as snow and she would be perfect. Unfortunately, she was a bit tanned and that took off of the myth they were creating. Shaeem knew they were somehow going to give her talc or tin glass so she could look paler. But she didn’t wanted to: sometimes, her only dream was to be human.

After a moment, she heard a wolf getting closer to them and stopping by Dragonheart, resting on the ground and probably his knees. Quietly sniffing the air, Shaeem realized she could now smell back the auras instead of her blood only. Everytime she’d be surprised about how much Dakota’s aura was the same as Dragonheart’s. She never smelled auras that were so similar in her entire life: even loving couples or brother pairs weren’t as close as that. Their auras were almost the same…

“Incredible” she whispered after a moment, like looking at Dakota. “You two are incredibly close. How can that be?” she literally was impressed. The closest auras she had ever smelled were between man and wolf… who would have guessed?

Joel smiled at her astonished question and, for a moment, continued to stir the food in the pan, the sound of wood swirling against metal rose into the air as it had that first meal. He knew how close he was to these wild animals that could have torn him apart in an instant, but instead remained as docile as the dogs the Whitefaces had brought with them from the land whence they had come. Except they weren't, were they? These were wild animals who had proven their savage nature before by tearing into the Redcoats that had once chased Shaeem.

Joel himself had showed how savage he could be; how much like a wolf that he could be. After a while of silence, Joel answered her, his voice drowning out the sounds of his stirring and the crackling of the flame. "Shaman once said that spirit of wolf collided with mine the day the black wolf saved me from rushing river," he said slowly, his voice soft. "Said wolf left imprint on my spirit, that it twined with that of wolf, forever binding me to them." It wasn't far from the truth. In fact, it seemed like the full truth with how close this pack was with him and he to them.

He knew that, one day, Shaeem would witness his aura warp to that of a wolf. She would see how savage he could really be, him and the pack both. It would be that day that would determine whether or not she would stay with him, or leave in fear of what he could do, as many shied from him because of how savage he could be. A sudden question popped into his mind and he asked it without turning toward her. "Will you remain with pack awhile?"

Shaeem stood there listening to him answering her question. After a moment, she smiled a little and pretend to look away, even if she wasn’t able to. Everything he said was like part of one universe she never had heard pf before. The only spiritual thing she had encounter in her life was herself, and she could say: she wasn’t a ghost. Despite everything that was being told to her, she wasn’t what they wanted her to be. Hearing him talking to her like that was somehow surprising, impressing. He was so calm and sure of what he was saying. It was the truth, she could hear it in his voice. There was no words from him that were, at least for him, a lie. For him, that wolf that once had saved him was the one who, by keeping him in the living world, gave him that aura, the one of some sort of human wolf. She smiled, not because she was mocking him, but because everything he said was so pure and fascinating that she couldn’t help but smile.

After a short silence that had taken place between them, Shaeem found herself surprised when hearing the man asking if she was going to stay longer with them. She sure had to go back at her Guild to tell her mentor about what she heard during her mission. But it was impossible for her to walk at this instant. And somehow, she felt the desire to stay with them. If only she could stay with Dragonheart and become some sort of wild Assassin… after a moment, she softly smiled, nodding a little.

“Yes, I will stay, at least until I can walk and run again”

She signed a little, mimicking to look away. Shaeem was going to add on how much she wanted to stay near him and the pack. After a moment, she just closed her blind eyes. “May I? Stay a little longer, just until I recover and then I’ll go, I promise.”

Dragonheart's stirring faltered and then halted alogether. He was probably tasting the stew to see if it was ready. Then the sound of liquid sloshing into a wooden bowl filled the air and a warm bowl was set in her lap. "You may stay as long as you would like," he answered with a small dip of his head, sitting back and taking a long sip of the stew. He chewed the tender meat as it made its way into his mouth, thinking carefully of his next words. Nothing came to him, so he remained silent and instead inclined his head to take in the sky.

The moon was out, casting her cold light upon the snow and turning it to crystal. It was nearly full, a time when he and the pack hunted together. Dakota seemed to sense Dragonheart's urge and raised his head high, his maw parting to utter a beautiful howl and it made Dragonheart smile, for he could hear the song in the howls of the pack.

Shaeem faked to look up at him when he told her she could stay as long as she wanted with all of them. With a small recognisant smile, she headed down to the bowl Dragonheart had put on her lap. She said no word but stay like that for a couple of seconds. After a moment, she took the bowl and drank directly from it, closing her deep blank eyes for a moment. She chewed the meat a moment, before she heard the howl of the wolf next to Dragonheart. What an incredible sound… Deep and strong, just as the wind through the high pines of the forest. She smiled a little and turned to the man.

“You heard that? That sound… I’ve never heard it from that close to me!”

Her voice sounded fascinated. The sound, the smell, the taste and the touch were the only senses she could use to find herself in space. The particular sound could have scared her, like any being would have been scared of the distant cry of wolves in the night. But she seemed comfortable with it. Even more surprising, she seemed fascinated by the wolf’s cry. She kept smiling before she quickly looked like she just realised something. Shaeem turned around to eat a little more. Sure he heard the wolf's howls. What a childish question to ask...

Joel couldn't help but give a quiet laugh as the song rose up into the night sky and seemed to float all around them. Of course he'd heard the wolf's howl. He could feel the song deep within him, resonating against his bones and through his very soul. The first night he'd spent with the pack had been the night the wolves had welcomed him among them with their song. That night, their song had told of a lost brother returning home. Now, the song told of the welcoming of a new sister, one whose eyes were kissed by the moon itself, for that is what they saw when they looked at this young woman's eyes. They saw the moon shining there, as bright as the night of the full moon.

"Pack sing songs every night," he said calmly, resting the empty bowl on his other side while he leaned back against his hands in the snow, his head raised to take in the beautiful night sky above. With each howl, each verse of the wolf song, the sky seemed to come to life, each star moving with the tune of the song and even the moon seemed to flutter where it rested. "Songs are different each night. To Whitefaces, pack's songs frighten them. Sometimes pack sings song to sooth and heal."

The young woman kept concentrating on the sounds that were filling the air. What a beautiful song… she softly inhaled, just as she was trying to remember the smell of burned wood and shinning snow. Each time she was going to smell those particular scents, she would remember the song that she heard that night. Her hands were resting on each sides of the bowl as her head was down, her hair falling to each sides of her face. She still was softly smiling. For a moment, she looked like she had fell asleep, but soon, she mimicked to look up, totally calm and serene. She kept silent and immobile several seconds before she heard Dragonheart talking to her, turning at him. Each song was different, he told her. And some could have their own aura, to what she understood. She nodded, believing him. The sound in the night was already so powerful that she had no doubt those songs could do more than scare people. She quietly chuckled.

“But… Am I not a Whiteface?” she finally asked. Shaeem knew she wasn’t completely white, which was the reason why her master had wish she would put talc or lead powder on her face so she could look as pale as the snow. But apparently, people still considered her as a white girl. After a moment, she turned to the sky. What a shame. She really wanted to see the moon and stars in sky, or maybe the heavy clouds. She sighed softly before she smiled at the sky, her cheeks turning a little red. “Can I ask you a favor, brave Dragonheart? Could you… please describe the sky to me?” It was a childish question that made her shy just by asking. It was that kind of questions that made her ghostly character fade away, at least for a moment.

Dragonheart grinned at her and returned his gaze to the sky, her earlier question quickly forgotten. He focused on her recent question and began to describe the sky to her and how the sky was the deepest of blues and, if one would look closely, they would see intricate designs of blues twisted together. "Stars of many things fall in sky," he said, describing each constellation. Once he'd finished with the stars, he moved to the moon, his eyes resting upon the bright silver orb that hung in the sky as he spoke in awe and wonder. "Moon is beautiful. Light is cool and turns snow to sparkling jewels. It is not yet full. No. Tomorrow is full moon. Pack hunt then." It sounded like Dragonheart was looking forward to hunting under the light of the full moon and his aura shifted ever so slightly before it rested calmly back into place again. It was enough to make one wonder.

She closed her eyes and tried to picture that sky Dragonheart was describing her. Every time Shaeem did ask the same question, the sky was “pitch black”, with some stars and a tiny, almost boring moon. But what Dragonheart was describing her was everything but boring. Nothing seemed really dead and blank from his eyes. She smiled, thankful. After a moment, Shaeem raised her fine eyebrows under her fringe. His aura had seemed different for a moment, when he had talked about hunting under the full moon. He was waiting for the hunt… He certainly would have been running through the woods at that very moment if she wasn’t the one keeping him there. She felt sorry for a moment. She grabbed her own hand and sighed softly. Dragonheart was an incredible being. So calm and peaceful by her sides, but he was one powerful creature, who was able to take life and track you down the woods themselves as if he knew the forest as being his own. She kept still before she smiled a little. “And you will hunt with them" It sounded more like an affirmation than a question.

Dragonheart gave a small nod at her statement. "Yes," he said simply, waving a hand to beckon a member of the pack toward them. She was a gray-white wolf with striking brown eyes, the white of her fur extending from her muzzle and running to the tip of her tail, extending up around her belly before the gray fur took control. "Anamosa will remain. Keep you company until pack returns." The she-wolf gave a soft whimper and moved toward the girl, pressing her muzzle against her hands.

“Anamosa” simply repeated the girl, whispering just as she was being aware or a well-kept secret. She felt the muzzle of the female wolf touching her hand and she looked surprised a moment before she slowly ran her hand in the wolf’s fur. Shaeem’s face stayed still for a moment before she softly smiled and nodded. “That’s kind of her” she started before turning to Anamosa and bow a little, thankful. “It’s an honor, Anamosa” Shaeem was acting just as if she would have encountered a powerful person she felt recognisant towards. Both of her hands went on the fur after a moment, to feel the appearance of the she-wolf and know what she was looking like. Shaeem smiled a little more when she realized how wonderfully built Anamosa was.

Dragonheart smiled over at the girls and dipped his head for a moment before he returned his gaze to the moon for the briefest of moments. Then he spoke to Shaeem, the growl of a wolf hidden deep within his voice. "If you're well enough to travel at dawn, pack will take you to home den. It is secure and you will be sheltered from cold winds." Soon enough, the pack's song ended for the night and even Dragonheart became weary. "Anamosa, it is time for sleep. Aiyana will keep watch." Anamosa gave an answering whine, her ears flicking back against her head much like a lower ranking wolf would.

Dragonheart appeared to be the pack's Alpha and so did Dakota, but somehow that didn't seem entirely possible. Joel was, after all, human. But his aura, splayed out in the snowy earth next to Dakota's, seemed far from human. Anamosa didn't move from where she was and instead whimpered quietly to Shaeem, as though the Omega was inviting the girl to lay down with her, that she would keep Shaeem warm throughout the night.

"I'm pretty sure I'll be able to follow at dawn" Shaeem answered, nodding after a moment. At least, she'll do her best to follow them. But she said nothing more. Dragonheart could give orders to the wolves... he was something like their leader. She closed her eyes and focussed on his aura. She was sure that if she wasn't able to feel those, she would have felt uncomfortable next to the man, since he would look completely human, but still, something about him would be strange and distant, but unexplainable. Since she could feel the resemblance between Dragonheart's aura and Dakota's, she could explain that fact to herself. She softly smiled, impressed, but didn't want to tell him. Maybe it would have been misplaced.

After a moment, Shaeem felt Anamosa touching her, like asking for something? "What is it?" she softly asked before she realised it was some sort of invitation to lay with her. Shaeem kept stunned. They trusted her... She smiled emotively before she nodded and slowly laid down, next to the female wolf. Taking back her red cloak and using it as a blanket, Shaeem simply stayed like that a moment, doing everything she could so her skin wouldn't touch the snow, yet putting the less she could of her weight on Anamosa, just not to hurt her. She kept still a moment before she simply whispered:

"Thank you"

Anamosa whimpered her answer and gave the girl's face a quick lick before she shifted and curled as much of her body around the girl as possible before resting her head on the girl's side and falling into a slumber. The only wolf that wasn't asleep was Aiyana, the wolf Dragonheart had introduced to her first after Dakota.

The sky was becoming brighter, though it was still quite dark when the wolves stirred around her and Anamosa was nudging the girl with her wet nose, like she was telling the girl it was time to move. Dragonheart was up and sounded like he was making sure the camp wasn't there at all. It didn't even smell like there had been a fire last night in the pit. Dragonheart looked to the sky and took a deep breath. He got a lung-full of cold air. It was time for them to go back to the den. It would be a long trek, as the den rested far from where they were now in the pine-forest but it was well sheltered and would be a good place for Shaeem to finish healing. Joel turned to the girl, the ears of his hood outlined against the still dark sky. "Come. It's time we were going. Anamosa will remain with you to help." Anamosa whimpered lightly, ears back as she gazed up at the man, her tail thumping lightly against the snow.

It did seem as though Anamosa was the Omega in this pack the way that she acted, her nose lightly brushing against Dragonheart's fingers before she turned back to the girl as Joel joined Dakota at the head of the pack with Aiyana on his other side. Their auras smelt strong with authority. Perhaps Joel was indeed like the pack's leader. But where did that leave Dakota and Aiyana? Were they the alphas after this man? This Wolfborne?

Shaeem got awaken by Anamosa, who was trying to wake her up softly. She opened her blind eyes after a moment and slowly sat, slowly remembering everything that had happened last night. She had been thrown down a cliff, and Dragonheart saved her. He had described the night sky to her and then she had slept, outside in the cold. But she felt comfortably warm... after a moment, her fingers touched Anamosa's fur and she looked a bit surprised, before she smiled and remembered the whole night. Shaeem sniffed the air a moment. She sure remembered the night but... then why wasn't she smelling the scent of the dead fire? If it was hidden, it was an incredible job. For her not to smell it, you really had to hide your thing well, especially if it was a dead camp fire.

The young woman heard Dragonheart telling her to get up. He sure was their leader... their human leader. How incredible... Shaeem slowly tried to get up and ended up on the ground. With a hand gesture showing she didn't needed help, she tried a few times before she could get up, trembling. It hurts! she thought, but she said no words. She probably could make her way with them if she wasn't going to put to much weight on her leg. She nodded and said, loud enough to make sure Dragonheart would listen: "I'll follow you" Shaeem smiled a little and reached for Anamosa's fur with her hand, just to be sure the wolf still was by her sides. She sighed and made her way with them. The air still was cooler than during late morning. It probably still was dark enough for the day to be confused with the night...

Dakota shook his fur and gave the ordering howl with Aiyana following suit before the entire pack moved after the three in the lead. Anamosa remained at Shaeem's side, making sure the girl was steady, didn't get left behind and knew where they were going. Helpful little one. Probably helped keep the tension in the pack at a minimum as well. Dakota lifted his head as the sky lightened and the cool milky dawn began to spread across the sky. They would rest at their den before they set off for the full moon hunt.

By midday the pack had reached their den. It was sheltered from behind by a pile of rocks. The slight rise helped them to see if there were enemies approaching and the forest that lay thick around them helped keep the den hidden and safe. While most of the pack went straight for the den to rest, Dakota and Aiyana went hunting with a few others while Dakota sat on a rock just outside the mouth of the den. "Aiyana and Dakota go hunt. We eat when they return. Please, head inside and rest. Anamosa will let you know of their return." Anamosa whimpered again and calmly headbutted the girl's hand before leading her inside the den where she curled up in what could have only been her own sleeping spot.

At some point, the pack just stopped and went to lay down on the snow or a bit further. Shaeem realised, after a moment, that if they were resting, it was because they were near the den now. The temperature had changed a bit. It probably was near midday, or the really beginning of the afternoon. She heard the wolves going to take a rest, but she also heard a few just going away. She tried to follow the sound of the ones going away before she turned to Dragonheart, who was explaining to her: some of the members of the pack were going to hunt while the other ones could rest. He asked her to do so. She mimicked to look at him for a moment, before she softly nod. “Alright… thank you, Dragonheart…” Shaeem softly smiled at him before she was gently dragged by Anamosa to go inside.

The poor girl took a few seconds before she manage to sit close to Anamosa. Her leg what still hurting badly. When she finally could sit, she got closer to Anamosa, gently putting a hand in her fur, sighing. She really loved her. That one was the one who kept her warm during all night and who helped her make her way with the pack. After a few seconds, Shaeem softly hugged the wolf, closing her blind eyes and taking a deep breath. “You are a good friend, Anamosa” she whispered after a moment. She was so glad to be at their sides… After a moment, she turned her head to where Dragonheart was last heard. His aura always was the same than the pack’s. Shaeem sometimes just found herself thinking she was the only human being alongside the others.

While Anamosa tended to the girl, keeping her warm and occupied with her company, Dragonheart remained outside of the den, his eyes scanning the horizon while the soft breathing of the pack rose up behind him, warm breath filling the den's space and warming the cold rock and earth. He seemed more anxious than before, most likely due to the fact that the full moon was tonight and that the pack would hunt that very night. Anamosa whimpered and it quickly widened out into a yawn before her head fell upon the girl's thigh, huge paws shifting against the ground beneath. Anamosa was more docile than the other pack members, who all seemed to have a say in what goes on. That put her as a definite Omega.

Dragonheart shifted outside, his boot crunching snow while the cold winds didn't seem to hardly bother him, the flaps of his clothes fluttering in the wind as the ears of his hood flapped almost noisily against his head. He thought of the hunt that would happen under the light of the full moon and the catch that they would bring for the pack. Just the subtle thought of hunting beneath the moon's silver light was enough to warp his aura ever so slightly to that of a wolf before it straightened up again, returning to the Man.

Shaeem softly ended up sleeping a little, or maybe she had just fainted for a moment. But else, she played with Anamosa, trying to braid her fur before she just stated braiding her own hair, which was still loose everywhere around her. She took all of her dark black hair into a long plaint so it would bother anymore. She took a hair from her fringe and used it to tie the end of her hair. When she had been pushed down the cliff, she had lost the ribbon that she'd almost always use to tie her hair. But she didn't really cared, as long as she could make sure her hair wouldn't get her trapped anywhere. But she had to keep it long enough to touch her thigh, order of her Master. She had to look like a ghost to people. Her long dark hair was part of her role.

After a moment, she turned to the open part of the den. Someone seemed to be worrying about something. She thought about it. This night would be the full moon and Dragonheart would go and hunt with the pack. Continuing to softly try to braid Anamosas's fur, Shaeem thought of something. What if Dragonheart's aura would completely turn into the one of a wolf for, let's say, the hurting time? What was she going to do? She had no clue. She had to experience it to say a word about it. She just couldn't figure herself reacting to that at this instant. Maybe somehow. Her hand slowly reached for the pendent he had given her. He was her friend but... what if he just turned, for a moment, into one real wolf? Shaeem sighed a little. Better not to think about it yet...

As the time of the full moon drew closer with the ending of the day, Dragonheart's aura shifted between beast and man. His eyes spotted movement on the horizon. Aiyana and Dakota were back with small prey items that would sustain the stronger runners in the pack. Joel called the rest of the pack to eat. Anamosa, however, remained with Shaeem. Dragonheart entered the den and nodded to the Omega in a greeting before he turned to the girl. "Look for pack at dawn," he said with a small dip of his head and a grin on his face. "Pack will eat well and stay here for a while." He was explaining to her that they'd be gone all night and that when they returned, the entire pack would get to eat instead of the food going to either the weakest wolves or the strongest so they could hunt.

This close to Shaeem, the aura of this man swayed, bending to form the outline of a wolf for the briefest moments before it straightened back to imitate him as though it were his shadow. "We leave when sun touches horizon."

She said no words as the man was taking, nodding at some moments. His aura was acting strangely... Just like it was getting changed by the time of the full moon. Shaeem had no idea if she had to be scared or impressed. Even then, she never had felt such an aura. People always had the same. When it did change, it was when the one person was confronted to something he and she couldn't handle and was going to change the said person forever. But Dragonheart's aura was different... It was just like he could jump on her and brutally kill her at any moment. Even if she knew he wouldn't, she felt kind of strange about him. What if, someday, he would see her like a pray? Like that, for no reason? She squeezed her pendent to her chest and nodded another time.

"I will be waiting for you, it's a promise"

She softly smiled at him after a moment. Whatever he was, or whatever he was going to do to her, Dragonheart was her friend. She had been saved by him and he was taking care of her. Shaeem knew she just couldn't walk away. Not because of her wounded leg, or because he would find her, but because she didn't want to.

Dragonheart moved past Shaeem to stand on what appeared to be a large boulder, where he crouched. His fingers lightly touched the gray stone beneath him and his eyes were fixed upon the horizon. He sat there, motionless as stone itself as the sky began to darken and the sun left a trail of blood red light across the grass. His aura shifted again, more violently this time and a growl escaped his throat. The ears of his hood pinned back against his skull as though they had been moved by his mind. The instant the bottom of the sun touched the horizon, casting its blood red light sprawling across the grass toward him, he twisted his head around and gave a snarling bark.

Dakota and Aiyana rose first, ears pricked and tails curling over their backs in the sign of dominance. After Dragonheart gave a second snarling bark, Dakota and Aiyana added their voices to the man's, telling the pack's best hunters to fall in line as Joel sprang from the rock and lunged forward. At first, Dragonheart began to run forward like a human. As his aura continued to twist and change to that of a wolf, Joel dropped to all fours and ran much like a wolf would, the pack's best hunters streaming after him, leaving only a few pack members behind at the den. Among them was the Omega, Anamosa, who sat by Shaeem's side like an obedient, domesticated dog. She gave a soft whimper, her ears flattening to her head as she shifted in her spot while the other pack members headed for the den.

As the full moon made itself known in the night sky, a howl rose up from the direction of the horizon, where the sun had set. It didn't sound like that of Dakota or Anamosa. It was deeper and following it was the howl of Dakota and Aiyana, disappearing into the night to hunt beneath the full moon.

At the moment Dragonheart jumped to start running to the moment his aura completely switched to a wolf's, Shaeem's hands got tighter on her necklace, feeling a bit strange about it. She said no words but kept feeling the strong feeling of his aura to her own, so she was able to sense it. It was the first time ever she felt such an aura... she even jumped a little when he turned completely wild. Was this man going to turn into a beast and somehow, hurt her? No, no, no. She knew he wasn't going to. She looked down, hearing her heart beating faster and faster. What would she even do if he would attack her? She sighed after a moment, feeling the fear in her belly. She would never fight back against Dragonheart. He was her friend, she just wouldn't be able to even try to hurt him.

For a second time, Shaeem jumped a little when hearing the howl away from her. Deep and clear, it wasn't Dakota's or Aiyana's. Shaeem froze a little. Dragonheart, she thought as if it was a reflex. Was it really his own howl? She drew closer to Anamosa after a moment and mimicked to look back at the place where Dragonheart had left. She stayed like that and, after a moment, found herself wishing for him and the others to come back safe and sound. Even in fear, she wanted them to be alright...

Anamosa whimpered again and raised her head to press her nose into the girl's cheek before her own head went back to the horizon. She knew they would come back, even if she couldn't tell the girl that. They always did.

As the night dragged on and the sky lightened with the first light of dawn, what remained of the pack emerged from the den and sat down with their heads turned toward the horizon. Nothing was there at first. Then slowly, gradually, the snow began to move. Joel was in the lead with Dakota and Aiyana on either side of him. He was carrying something big and a few of the hunters were carrying their own catches. Many of them had rabbits while others were carrying part of a carcass they must have eaten during the night.

The closer they got the better the rest of the pack could see. Dragonheart was carrying a large buck, its antlers trailing in the snow. The wolves made it to the den first, those who had caught rabbits giving those who needed the food before settling down to share it with them. Dakota, Aiyana and Dragonheart all arrived last. Joel's aura was back to its normal structure, calm and blending with the aura of the wolves milling around them. "Pack eat well," he said, dropping the deer onto the ground before he started a fire and began to carve the carcass. "And we will too."

At some point, Shaeem felt the pack’s excitement about something happening. She frowned a little and turned to where every wolf seemed to turn. After a moment she realized: the others were coming back. Waiting to feel only the wolves aura’s, she rose a little when she felt Dragonheart’s as well. He was back to human… She tried to move a little move or to get up, but the man soon came at her. She sat back, just like if she was looking at him. He was back. Not only physically back, but his aura was back to normal. Back to the one she had first encountered in the woods, when she was alone and cold. She softly sighed and nodded, trying to help him by keeping her hands close so no wind breeze would kill the fire Dragonheart was making. She sniffed the air a little. He didn’t seem to be wounded, or bleeding. The blood she smelt wasn’t his, but his prey’s. She smiled a little and nodded.

“I’m do glad you all came back with no problem”

She mimicked to look away after a moment turned back to him. She was trying to help him as much as she could, and seemed to be a bit less pale than before. She was getting better and her wounds seemed to be less painful. It probably was because of the treatment he had given her. Shaeem was looking way better.
