Background/Biography: Ichabod was a taught at Oxford for many years as a History Professor. His love of the past and all the secrets it holds has never waned for him. He would often spend his summers traveling to new places to study ruins and artifacts among his peers. He had become something of a name in the scholar community, and was happy to say he couldn't count his friends if he used both hands.
During one of his digs, he found a strange looking coin of discernible value or origin. It was ancient, but was nothing like he had seen before. After months of investigating and pouring over books every night, he managed to find a cliff note in an old Latin journal with a sketch of the coin and the word 'Precursor?'
This lead fanned the flames of his passion and he began searching even more, looking in the most ancient texts he could find. And sure enough, throughout history the name Precursor appeared in texts from Spain to Germany. Whoever these precursors were, they were everywhere.
When the Revolution in the colonies broke out, Ichabod enlisted to both support the King, and use the opportunity to find any evidence of these Precursors in the new world.
