Subject: Martin "The Hunter" Fri Dec 26, 2014 11:53 am
Edit: If accepted, I will write a minor backstory on him in the "free write" section of the revolution topic. It will be one post, no worries~
Name: Martin Nickname: The Hunter
Age: 54
Affiliation: Free Agent, British Supporter
Appearance: A very white beard, messy white hair, an eyepatch over his missing left eye, his right eye being fully bright blue. Martin has a very strong appearance, a bulk of a man, carrying so much on him from his bombs to a very large axe and musket. He wears a long, thick wavy red coat to show his support to the British claim of the American lands. Notably, he is also very tall.
Personality: Martin is an extremely loyal British soldier. Or at least he was until he was court-marshaled. Ever since that day, he has been a carefree, explosive pyromaniac whom has no care apart from his personal vendetta against those whom have wronged him. Not much is known about his personality, only that others see him mad.
Favorite Weapons: Blunderbuss and Explosives!
Strengths: Martin is, as for his appearance, extremely tall and strong- giving him a very large boon in battle. He has enough power to throw a mere man across the battlefield. But what many do not realize is that Martin is quite insightful- he understands every action he takes and what others do. While many will just see him as a large evil brute, he is quite rightful in his acts. Lets not forget he is an explosives expert- he understands every use of gunpowder, be it musket, powder kegs or cannons.
Weaknesses: He is very...troubled. Depression, modern day people would call it. Due to his backstory, he can be a very sad person to be around. But as oppose to that, he is a pyromaniac, being happy from the sight of flames and explosions. Being tall and muscle, a walking tank, he is not very fast...This doesn't limit him from not climbing, but it does limit him in the speed to do so. He is also very..untrustworthy. Not a person you'd want to have in the Assassins, Templars or even the British Army. For this; he is very carefree.
Background/Biography: "My hands the means, my heart the will" -Martin.
Martin was born in England and at young age trained to join the British Army as a powder expert. After years of service, he was sent to the new lands of America in the colonies to protect it, and he did so with loyal devotion. This was the life he loved to live. However, all good things come to an end.
During the years of the first uprising, one of this squad members he was teamed with was, unaware to him, an Assassin. It was a mere cover and because of it, almost cost him his life. His entire squad, while protecting Fort George in New York, was killed by a Templar attack on this one Assassin. They got in the way- while Martin was blinded in one eye from the attack. No threats were made...but it took a while for him to physically recover, he would never recover mentally.
A few weeks later, he was court-marshaled for misbehavior and failure to follow orders. It was this that caused Martin to go rather insane, yet also extremely knowledgeable. He did speak with the right people and study hard; finding that those that killed his squad were Templars and the one whom was in his squad was a traitor Assassin. Martin was...mad. Angry. And because of this, he swore to take down any Assassin's or Templar's he came across and found. An unstable hunter, a bane to both sides. He couldn't return to England and is stuck in the American Revolution, with hatred to all.
Notably, he is also a ancestor of the Modern Day Lana Wake, so everything he does can be viewed by her in the Animus.
