The legacy

Ember raced outside, and leapt into the limousine.
"Frederick, take us to Shay Manor!"
"Ma'am?"
"Just do it, Frederick!"
"Yes, ma'am." Jack climbed into the limousine, and let the cubs make their way to Ember. Ember gently stroked the cubs as she stared vacantly at her home. They were just waiting for Benjamin and Austin.

Benjamin followed close after Ember with Austin right on his tail. "I'm glad we got out of there," Benjamin felt Altair give a nod of agreement beside him.
"Yes. The atmosphere in there wasn't exactly nice."
"Hopefully you two don' freak ou' when we reach her dad's place." Benjamin muttered as he climbed into the limo with Austin behind him. The Donnelly shoved his weapons back into their holsters with a sigh of relief as he shut the door behind him.
