Name:Adrian James Rainsford

Age: 27

Affiliation: Assassin and occasional Pirate.

Appearance: Adrian stands at about 6’ 1”, and weighs in at about 150 lbs. He has dark red hair, which is usually messy and unkempt. Adrian has dark blue eyes, and is in his athletic prime. He always stands up straight. Always.

Now, let’s get to the interesting part. Adrian wears cream colored breeches, and wears a cotton shirt under his normal clothes. His ‘normal clothes’ consist of a dark blue coat, that stretches down to his mid-shin area (Reference at bottom of application). Under said coat, he has a cream/white-ish vest, with a red sash stretching diagonally from the left shoulder to the right hip. On this sash is the Assassin symbol embroidered into it with gold thread. He has a brown leather belt, which has  two pistol holsters, storage containers, and a gold medallion attached to it. To top it off (literally), he has a beaked white hood attached to the dark blue coat, which has a leather Assassin symbol attached to it. He wears his hood down a lot though, he only puts it up when he is infiltrating a fort, or boarding a ship.  

Personality: Adrian is the kind of person who stays back and analyzes a situation before charging in. He’s not a coward, he is just the kind of person who weighs the risks before going into battle. As well as that, Adrian is also a calm person, who doesn’t get aggravated easily. He is stubborn though, once he gets into a fight, he will only leave if he has no other option, or if he wins. Adrian is a silent, efficient, yet stubborn man.

Favorite Weapons: Adrian favors a custom made hanger sword (Reference below), as well as a pair of well worn pistols. Like most Assassins, he has a hidden blade that he uses in close-quarter combat..

Strengths:

• Adrian is a strong man. He can easily overwhelm his opponents using brute force, although he usually doesn’t.
  
• Adrian is an amazing swordsman, he has very fluid motions, and he can slice his way through a less skilled opponent in under a minute (This depends on the still of his opponent of course.
  
• Freerunning is one of Adrian’s talents. He can scale almost any building (given he has proper footholds and terrain), and he can get out of many situations as a result, but he’s not a superhuman, so there are always places he can’t get out of.
  

Weaknesses:

• Being tall isn’t easy. Adrian is such a tall man, he can’t really pull off stealth like his shorter comrades.
  
• Stubborn. When faced in an ambush or trap, Adrian will fight to win, or die trying.
  
• Adrian is a cautious man. This means that he will sometimes miss a whole fight, or fail a mission because he is so cautious.
  
  

Background/Biography:

Adrian James Rainsford was born in County Cork, Ireland to a farming family. His father was a wheat farmer, and his mother was an occasional seamstress. His childhood was relatively uninteresting, as his parents were financially stable, and as a result, the English count that owned the land they farmed didn’t evict them. At the age of 15, Rainsford Farm was beginning to break down, and Adrian’s father, Patrick, decided to move the family to Liverpool, mainly because his cousin lived there. Six people shared one tiny apartment, and they lived in a state of semi-poverty until Adrian’s early 20’s. When Adrian turned 20, he moved to Cordoba, Spain. There he worked as a carpenter in a shipyard, and that’s where he met his best friend, Carlos. Carlos was an Assassin initiate, and as their friendship grew, Adrian grew ever closer to the Brotherhood, until finally being initiated at age 21. Adrian took to being an Assassin like Albert Einstein to science, he was a prodigy. He rose through the ranks, and he became a full-fledged Assassin at the age of 26. After he was formally initiated into the Andalusian Brotherhood, Adrian was tasked to go to the Caribbean, and report on Templar activity there.

So, is this accepted or not accepted?

It's not too bad, although you skipped over 5 years that could serve as a goldmine for character history, especially to explain how he became an expert swordsman (every assassin can use a blade, what makes him so special?), and the same with free-running and his strength. These don't necessarily need to apply during his training years, but an explanation at some point or how they have affected his life should be included in the bio. Same applies for weaknesses - they really don't matter or count as character flaws at all if they never come into play. Add those and we'll see where to go from there.
