Background/Biography: The grandfather of his future grandson; James Madison, the fourth president of the United States, Asher Madison was studied intensely at Abstergo industries. He formed both many Templar and Assassin ideals which were considered ridiculous for his time, and still widely are. He was one of the few who vouched that Assassins and Templars could fight together, and work for the singular goal of benefiting mankind by freedom and unity. His goals would ultimately be never reached, but his legacy continues to be renowned as one of the most honest and humble paths of teaching.
Historically, Asher Madison was born in great Britain on August 21st of 1699. His father was a spice trader and was the only one to look after him when his mother died while he was only six. Shortly after, his father passed too while he was merely ten. Seeking consolation, Asher fled from his hometown and lived on his own. However, he had no knack for wilderness survival and found himself at death's door just after his father. However, before nature could take him he was saved by a mysterious woman. Someone of a foreign heritage, she took him under her wing and cared for him for several years. By age fourteen, it was revealed to him that she was a former Assassin who left the brotherhood in order to care for him. He owed her a great debt, but knew that it could only be repaid by building a life for himself as an Assassin. Two years later he left and searched for the Creed in the East Indies, once again homeless. He acquired a ship and sailed the seas, avoiding pirates and Templars. When he found the Assassins, he trained with them for four years. However, having a foreign background he did not fit in with their ranks, and often preached of one day uniting Assassins and Templars. The Creed did not like this, and for it he was banished from the order.
