However, he can build a soft spot for some people, and he becomes incredibly selfless when it comes to them.
Background/Biography:
Elliot was born in New York, and he is a single child. Born from a Jamaican mother and an American father of irish descent, he never really knew where to fit in society. However, he quickly learnt how to play his cards and managed not only to be well-liked, but also to be the class president every year when going to highschool. He was part of a pretty big clique, but couldn’t managed to make his actual friendships last more than a couple months.
Highschool came around and Elliot started showing early signs of giftedness. He started loving to brag about it and it quickly got his head inflated to the point he couldn’t mentally go back by his own. Using his reputation to break people appart and his intelligence to prove everyone wrong, but also used his growing charms to lure people into doing what he wanted, Elliot quickly became one of the most feared personalities in school.
When university hit, with honours in economics and architecture, Elliot lost his father in a terrible car accident that took place when he was studying in Northern Ireland. When he came back for the funerals, it was to find back his mother lost in crazy thoughts, whimpering and whispering to herself that ‘They’ finally had gotten him. Elliot never understood who ‘they’ were, but from that day on, his life never was the same.
To help his mother pay the bills, he dropped university and started working at a full-time job as a coffee barista at day and found his ways into gambling at night.
One day, Elliot decided he needed some time for himself. This company, Abstergo Inc was pretty big into game development. They apparently made this really cool VR game a couple years ago named Devils of the Seas, about pirates and whatnot. They said it was like living history through the very eyes of time. History was their playground. Elliot tried it once and quickly became addicted. This person’s life was so much more interesting than his own. So he kept on playing days after days at the Abstergo arcade center, about every nights after work.
One day, Elliot was pre-trying out their whole new game, Rogue. It was simply amazing, until the consol bugged. The shock was so intense Elliot thought he was having a seizure. He could see Shay Patrick Cormac, the character he had been playing as for the first few weeks, falling off the cliff and actually... dying. The whole Templar story? Fake. The suave sharpshooter attitude? Nothing. The stylish red and black coat? A scam. Then... who had made this story? Elliot escaped, with now new shooting abilities, but also the capacities to pretend to an extreme level to be someone else: Shay, to be exact.
He had to tell the world. Abstergo was doing its very best to control people’s mind into liking what they called the ‘Templar Order’. And he was starting to think that it was by trying to share this information that his father had lost his life...
