A young knight walked through the barracks, heading straight to his master's quarters, a young woman following close behind him. He had been called in, and ordered to bring the woman with him.
"You called for us, Grand Master?"
"Indeed, I did, Shay. Lady Morningstar."
"Grand Master De Sable" the young woman said with an extravagant bow. De Sable looked up from the letter he was writing, and studied the two for a moment.
"The Assasins are more active than they have been, they've grown more bold in recent months. I have reason to believe they know something. Lady Morningstar, due to your training with the Assassins, you are to infiltrate, find out what's going on, deliver this letter to Al Mualim, and get out." The woman dipped into a low bow, and gently took the letter that De Sable held out to her.
"I will not disappoint you, Grand Master."
"I know you won't, Lady Morningstar. Shay, you are to keep watch over Lady Morningstar, protect her with your life. You know of her importance."
"Yes, Grand Master." with a final bow, the two left De Sable's quarters. The young man headed off to change into civilian clothing, while the woman headed off to gather her weapons. When they were finished, they met at the stables, and headed to Masyaf on horseback.
