Stranded {Alternate Timeline}

Damian was, as many would say, screwed.
His crew mutinied, and now he had been stuck on this island for six days now, living off of ocelots, iguanas, and the occasional Jaguar if the pack on the island decided to attack. He had set up a shelter in a cave, the front covered by Ocelot pelt and Jaguar pelt, and one Bear pelt from the bear that lived in the cave. "What'ya think, Jeffery?" Jeffery was not a person. Jeffery, was a coconut with three holes in him, two for eyes, one for a mouth. "I think those bastards deserve to drown, and have their heads mounted on pikes outside of the church back home." His crew had been fed up with Damian making wrong turns, reading the map upside down, and refusing to attack other ships. He promptly stuck a middle finger at the roof of the cave. "Up yours, God!" It promptly started raining. "Ah, fuck you too!" He had picked up the flint and stick that lit his fires, and started the fire like the other nights. "Piece of shits..."

[This is an alternate timeline, where, instead of Damian making it toward as far as the cove where Samuel and Elizabeth was, his crew mutinied and abandoned him on an island.]

"At least I took all the rum from them in the middle of night, eh, Jeffery?" He was refrencing, of course to the Seven barrels of rum he floated off to the island in the middle of the night. It was the island they planned to dump him on, yes, but it did allow him to drink while there.

(I know Shane's still awaiting approval, but here he is to join the party. Also, Jeffrey the coconut. I couldn't stop laughing at Damian's misadventure )

Shane Dawson

"Goddamn it! Ya could have at least given me a pistol!" Shane stood at the water's edge, swearing at the ship sailing away from the island. A bolt of lighting struck the ships mast, and the ship caught fire. "No! Not the bloody rum" Shane shouted as he leapt into the water, and began to swim to the burning ship. An explosion sent bits of the sloop flying in every direction. "Oh fuck it!"

"No gun, no rum. This is bloody torture I tell ya! Damn ya, ya wankers" Shane ranted as he stormed along the beach. When he saw a bottle lying in the sand, he was overjoyed. His attitude changed upon seeing that the bottle was empty. "Ya know what? Up yours, ya bastard!" Shane's roars were directed to God, of course. "Right, where was it then?" Shane knocked on one of the palm-trees, and began counting the paces as he moved further inland.

"Where are you..." Shane was now jumping along, throwing all his weight into the sand. He was so focused on his quest for rum, he didn't notice the bearskin hanging over the entrance to the cave. "It should be right h..." Shane fell straight through the boards hidden beneath the sand, and landed in the old room his captain would hoard rum in. "Gettin' real sick of your shit, God, ya know that" Shane shouted as he shook his fist at the sky above him. He grabbed a few bottles of rum, and strung them together with some rope. "Suppose I should get to the old cave, and try to dry off." Shane moved some leaves over the hole in the ground,  kicked some sand over it, and left for the cave.

"And it's all for me grog, me jolly, jolly grog. All for me beer and tobacco. Well I spent all me tin on the lassies drinking gin, and somethin', somethin', somethin'..." Shane stumbled into the cave, tripped, and landed with his face in the sand. "Oh for fuck's sake" Shane shouted with a mouth full of sand before he rolled onto his back, looked at the giant and his coconut, and laughed. "Jaysus! You're a big one, aren't you" Shane laughed before he righted himself, uncorked a bottle of rum, and drank as if he were trapped in the middle of a desert. "So 'ow long 'ave you been stuck 'ere?"


"Anyone seen Dawson?"
"Saw him get on a sloop last night, haven't seen him or the sloop since."
"Not again" Elizabeth moaned as she wiped her face, "Come on, lads, let's go find Shane." With that, the Tiger Shark set sail to find her missing crewman.

"Ah - I believe... Six days?" He turned his head to Jeffery, who he was holding in his hand like a certian Shakespearan Skull. "Six days or seven, Jeffery?" No response at all. He turned his head back to Dawson, and said, "Six days." Damian had place Jeffery back at his spot, where he idly faced the fire. "Come - sit, I just made the fire... Name's Damian, by the way."

Shane Dawson

"I'd watch that one if I were ya" Shane laughed as he pointed to "Jeffrey" the coconut. "That bastard still owes me 100 Reals." Shane took off his hat, and ran his fingers through his dirty-blonde hair before returning his hat to his head. "Name's Shane... I think. Anyway, you'd better get used to this bloody island. Captain'll only be arriving at the end of the month for a deposit, maybe sooner if they've noticed my absence." Shane untied the bottles, and arranged them neatly in a row. Well, as neatly as a drunk could. "Think of this as a vacation, mate. No work, no worries, at least until the rum runs out."

"Ah - always look on the bright side when everything is a big pile of dung." Damian threw a stick in the fire, and held Jeffery in his hand. He didn't say anything. "If we are stuck here for too long, we'llhave to eat you, Jeffery." Silence. "Sorry."

(Jeffery is basically Damian's Wilson. The ball from Cast Away.)

Shane Dawson

"Truer words 'ave never been spoken, but I always look on the bright side of life." Shane eyed the row of bottles, and smiled. "I think I know where to find some rice, just hope it hasn't grown a beard yet." Shane began on his second bottle of rum, he felt strangely at peace. "Ya know, coconuts are fun and all, but I've found rocks make better companions. Plus they're on the ground so, ya know, they can't fall on ya head." He rubbed his head for a second. "On a related note, never pass out beneath a coconut tree. Worst way to wake up... No, worst way is being shouted at, and chased out a house by an angry husband."

"Ah - for me, worst way of wakin' up..." He took a swig of his drink, and continued, "...Is findin' you drank more than a horse, and that you were abandoned next to the town's garbage dump, with none of ya clothes..." He took a chug, and said again, "...happened to me once." He picked up Jeffery, and answered his previous question. "And, Coconuts are fine, as long as you are the one knockin' them down".

Shane Dawson

"Woke up smelling like a latrine one morning. Can't remember why, can't even remember the last time I was sober either. But losing your clothes, that's something else." Shane looked at "Jeffrey" and laughed. He once had the pleasure of having a coconut companion, he ate the coconut five minutes later. "So, Damian, 'ow did ya end up on this island?"

"Bah... We were heading for the colonies, but a fleet of ships steered us off course. Forced to go south. We were going to head back north, but my crew... They got fed up with it. Decided to throw me overboard, and dump me on the island after they woke up - they docked our by here just in he middle of the night." Damian sighed, and said, "I unlocked the cell door they kept me in - I always keep a spare - and I floated the barrels of rum..." He said, pointing at the kegs, "...off to here. I returned to the cell, yes - but, I hid the rum in a bush, so they wouldn't see them when they dropped me off here."

Shane Dawson

Shane eyed the barrels of rum with a twinkle in his eye. "Good thinking. I just watched about twelve barrels go up in flames." Shane took off his tricorn hat, held it to his chest. "A terrible loss" Shane said sadly before he lowered his head as he had a moment of silence for the rum. "Well, at least your story is an interesting one, I'm sure the captain wouldn't mind helpin' ya get your ship back, maybe even help ya find a decent crew?" Shane took a moment to think about his captain, the Demon. "I should warn ya, the captain's as mad as they come, and more bloodthirsty than anyone you'll ever meet. Took her first ship at the tender age of fifteen. By herself."

(Just thought I'd throw this out there, Shane may or may not be based on me when I'm in one of my better moods or when I'm with friends.(Except for his love of women, that's more of my ex's thing))

"Hm. Back home, the more british arseholes ya kill.." He took a swift chug of his bottle, and said, "...the more respected ya are. Once was solider, killed thirty two bastards on his own once..." He chuckled, and said, "...well, about a small population of the town is related to him. 'Bout... Seventy,at least." He finished  the drink, and said, "As for a crew... well, if your definition of 'decent' isn't 'full of blood thirsty criminals', then I do think it'll be nice."

(Also, I know it may be, like, seven or something like that where you are, but for me, it's like earth is just. "Oh, heya, I see you wanna roleplay, eh? Here - I'll make sure you and the others are awake fully at about the sane time and - SIKE, GOTCHA, HAVE SOME TIMEZONES")

(I know that feeling, stay up til about 5am at weekends just to keep writing for Assassin of the Black Flag. Sorry if I'm keeping you up.)

Shane Dawson

"Nah, captain'll set ya up with some decent men. There's scores of good men looking for work.  Plus she knows 'ow to pick the ones that won't plan a mutiny against ya" Shane explained as he rearranged the bottles, and moved the empty bottles to one side. "Killed thirty-two men on his own? Sounds like the man was a Demon or somethin' of the likes."

(I've also had leaving Inagua, and the siege of Nassau written out for about a week now. But you know, initiation)

(Nah, nah, I'm snowed in, basically. My nephew hasn't had school the entire week due to how cold it is and all the snow, (It was 28 Degrees F° on Sunday, but then monday was freaking Three, and it starting declining ever since.) Tons 'O' Snow, no Buisness for me. But I might get loads of profit due to all the idiots driving in the snow.)

"The man was one of the best there was... Emphasis on 'was'.". Damian sighed, and said, "They saw him as a huge threat, and got him Assinated... Not going into details, it apparently involved a fake prostitute, and he was killed right before he even took off his shirt."

(Side note: I almost typed prophet instead of profit.
Damnit Dungeouns 'n' Dragons, getting into my head.)

(Damn, and we're stuck in the middle of a week-long heatwave)

Shane Dawson

"Damn, but captain's one of those hooded bastards." Shane had gone white at the thought of the likely clash between his captain and Damian. "That's the worst way to go" Shane laughed, "Tell me, 'ave ya had any run ins with those hooded bastards? Assassins, that's what I think they call themselves. You're not a Templar, are ya?"

"Bah..." He made a crude looking drawing of a templar cross with a stick on the ground, and spat on it."I was, you see.  Did what was right, and they wanted my head. As I said before, I tried fleeing to the colonies, but I ended up here." Damian quickly saw that shane had gone white, so he tried to comfort him. "Also - if it makes ya feel better, my sword is over there." He said, pointing to the 5'10 sword. It was encrested with a jewel, Ruby, by the looks, in the center of the wrist guard, and it was encrested with noble looking encrestings, the type you'd see on goblets and a Chalice. Other than that, it was just a normal 5'10 sword.

Shane Dawson

"It's not me I'm worried about, mate" Shane chuckled after he breathed a sigh of relief. "Captain's one of those Assassins. I'd hate to lose a fine woman like that to a Templar." Shane pulled one leg to his chest, and looked at the Templar cross sketched in the sand. "Nobody's ever told me about Templars or Assassins, didn't even know captain was one. But then again, nobody tells me anything, or I don't remember if they told me." Shane laughed before he started on a new bottle. "Nobody ever pays attention to the drunk. But I hear things."

"As long as she isn't a British associating in my homeland's war..." he said, drinking a bottle, "...then she's fine in my book." He picked up Jeffery again, and said, "You agree, Jeffery?" Nothing. "Yeeeah, I knew you'd think the same, pal..." He said to the coconut happily.

(Heyo, that's another thing I can add to weird things I've typed/said.
The list mainly consists of:
"The tree's name is MacDonald, and he comes with us to fight the gods."
"Lubricate the dragons!"
"Roll Thirty two or above in agility to perform 720 No-Scope."

(K, so, I just fell asleep for a couple of a minutes, so I thini my body is going "Dude sleep now or ill force you to sleep.' So im going t sleep now.)

Shane Dawson

"Nah, captain was born at Nassau. A pirate through and through. She hates the bloody British with a passion. She loves torturing the redcoats, 'though she'd say it's an interrogation." Shane took a piece of burnt wood, and drew a face on an empty bottle of rum. "Think the captain'll kill me" Shane asked, his question directed to the bottle. "Yeah, that's what I thought" Shane said sadly before he took a sip from a full bottle of rum, his lips lingered on the mouth of the bottle.

Elizabeth "Demon" Shay

"Well must be close. Remind me to kill that sorry bastard when we find him" Elizabeth growled as she looked at the wreckage of the sloop, floating in the water.

"That's perfect..." He picked uo Jeffery again, and said, "...You agree, Jeffery?" No response once again. "Yeaaaaah, that's what I thought..." He said drunkily.

Elizabeth "Demon" Shay

Elizabeth stormed along the beach, looking for Shane's sorry hide. "I swear to God, I'll kill..." Elizabeth hadn't even finished her sentence, before she fell straight through the sand, and into the store. "DAWSON!!!"

Shane Dawson

Shane was now on his fourth bottle, and rightly pleased that he hadn't run out of rum. He seemed happy, until he heard Elizabeth shouting his name in a very angry tone. Shane looked at the bottle, and smiled. "Yeah, captain's definitely going to kill me." Shane pulled his hat over his face, and listened to the loud swearing that seemed to be growing in volume. "Brace yourself, Damian" Shane said calmly as he flicked a cork into the fire.

"See ya in the next life, mate..." He said, taking a swig of drink, "..Jeffery, you think he's gonna die?" Not a single sound from the coconut. "I think so too, Jeffery. Say your prayers."

Shane Dawson

"Not a huge fan of God, mate. He cursed me from the moment I was born, but I gave him a great "up yours". The bastard. Don't believe in him, but at least it's someone to curse or blame." At that moment, Elizabeth stormed through the pelts covering the entrance to the cave. She was covered from head to toe in sand from her earlier fall.
"Jaysus, Shane! I have half the mind to use you to scrape the barnacles off the bottom of the ship!" Elizabeth looked at Damain and Jeffery, and she had a rough idea of what happened.
"You wouldn't do that, captain. I'm too good looking to kill like that."
"Your charms don't work on me, Shane. Now come along." Elizabeth paused to look at Damian, "You too. Looks like you've had a rough time of late."
