Bjørn was gaining on the man when the man yelled down to him. "No! I was sent by the captain to see what the trouble was! It appears that you are not to welcome here judging by the fact that you are trying to get away though!"  Bjørn said with a cocky attitude and flashing a smile.  Bjørn puts his hunting dagger in his mouth and continues to climb after the man but begins to realize that they have only climbed about half way up the rope.

"Not welcome here? I'm the reason this ship is even docked here. The other man killed a crew member and tossed bombs." He said, as he neared the snipers perch.

"That etta be true or thay ell be a prolum."  Bjørn says the best he can with his dagger still in his mouth and hardly believing what the man said. He is about four fifths of the way up while the man has just made it to the top.  Bjørn takes out his other dagger and begins to climb the rope with one hand and his legs, slowing his progress dramatically. He is still climbing relatively fast due to his years of training.

Joseph reached the snipers perch and reloaded his pistol. By the time the man had made it to the top, the gun was loaded and he pointed it at the man, a good six feet away. "Jump into the water." He said, cocking the pistol.

As  Bjørn reached top he pulled his dagger out of his mouth and when he looked up the man had pointed a gun at him. "Jump into the water." Said the man, but Bjørn had no intention of that. "You see, I would, but I was sent to see what was going on in there, so before I go, I either need you to tell me what happened or I'll have to take you to the captain. If neither suits you, I could always dispatch you and say that you attacked me first. Seeing as though you have a pistol pointed at me and all, I'd say that you cut me and that I hurt you in self defense. How old are you? 14? 15? 16? My point is that no one will make much of a fuss over a kid dying from a knife fight. Besides all that, you don't look like you really will shoot me, most people your age haven't got the guts to shoot someone, let alone on top of a snipers perch with a lot of wind hitting. Bjørn gave him a wolfish smile and twirled his knives in his hands. He was right though, the wind was beginning to pick up and he could tell that the boy had noticed the wind aswell.

After taking a few seconds to think, Joseph responded "I already told you what happened. I was an important passenger aboard the Scarbourer. The other man killed a Royal Sailor and threw all those bombs you saw." He lowered the pistol, knowing that I'd the man attacked he still had his hidden blades, and could attempt to use the man's weight to throw him overboard. He slipped his gun next to the puches on his belt. "I'd hoped we could be allies, as it seems you were employed by the captain and that entails we have a mutual enemy, or assailant at least."

John hears the explosion of the bomb and hears the cries of men feeling it. The cabin as now caught flame and is creating even more smoke. He can see men starting to flow into the cabin. He also sees that the other two men are either with the incoming hoard or have fled. John takes his bomb pouch off quickly. He lights one single bomb in it and puts it back into the pouch. He tosses the whole pouch in the hoard of incoming men. As he throws them he quickly turns and dives throw the window. As enters the water he hears the sound of the bombs going off followed by many more. John surfaces and sees the boat swaying from the force.

Before Joseph could get an answer, he felt the boat begin to sway and heard many explosions. He grabbed onto the mast and offered a hand to the other man.

Bjørn sheaths his daggers and grabs the boys hand and says, "Thanks, that is all we've got to do and we'll get along just fine. All I've got to do is escort you to the captain and then we can go our separate ways." Instead of trying to steady himself though, Bjørn grabs the boy's other arm and yanks him off of the ship and toward the water. With a low chuckle, Bjørn jumps in after him and pencil dives into the water for 10 feet. As he rises to the surface, and gasps for air, he sees a man swimming the opposite direction of the burning captain's cabin. "Do you know that man?" Bjørn says to the boy that has just risen to the surface beside him.

"Well this was a good day" John thinks to himself as he gets ready swim to shore. Before he turns he sees the two mean fall into the water. "It would be such an easy kill at this point." He start to tread water "Should I?" he ask himself.

Without waiting for an answer, Bjørn looks over to the man that has begun to swim over towards them. "Hello sir, are you ok? There is a raging fire blazing up there. Do you need any assistance?" Bjørn says this with actual kindness and gives the man a genuine smile.

He looks at them and realizes that they are both still alive and mostly fine. The man who pointed a gun to his face looks slightly dazed from the fall. I won't be able to take them both at once. John starts to think that he made the wrong choice, but then remember the symbol on the paper. It was the sign of the Templar. Could he use this. h think so. He think he could. Keeping his distant "Yes I am perfectly fine. I came to check on you. I saw that both fall in." With his normal attire on he looks like an ordinary citizen. "I had seen the man face as he fellow. I figure I should warn you. He is a Templar. I have heard terrible things about them"

Joseph resurfaces and sees the two men swimming for eachother. He takes a few deep breaths, and feels aches all over his body. He hit the water in a bad position to say the least. He cursed to himself knowing that his gunpowder was wet. He swam toward the pier where the ship was docked, and now grounded, beside Fort Arsenal. Many sailors died in the blasts and many more were leaving the ship and going ashore. Or still trying tosave men.

Joseph reached the pier shortly, since he didn't fall too far from it and climbed on top of it. He was soaking wet and let out a sigh before crawling and collapsing for a fee breaths. He looked out and saw the two men nearly to eachother. "Fortune favors that man knows what he is doing. The assassin shouldn't have a quarrel with him. I hope."

"Templar or not, I was sent to see what was going on in there and I'm going to make sure he gets to the captain. Besides that, he is a youngster and has a pistol with soaking wet gunpowder, I'm not too worried. If you are fine, I think I'll go over to the peer to see if he's ok." Bjørn says responding to the man and turning to swim towards the boy.

"Ok. Take care and be careful. I would not want anymore men dying today for no reason." John starts to swim towards the blind spot of the shore where he started this all from. He makes to sure to keep an eye on where the man is going. A moment later, he is on the shore.

The captain came off of the ship and tried to get a grip on what was going on. He approached Joseph and helped him up. "Are you alright boy? What the hell happened?"

Joseph got onto his feet and responded, "Someone broke into the captains cabin. With a huge arsenal, apparently. I did what I could but the man was a walking powder barrel."

"I see. The Scarbourer may be repairable. She is an important ship and the name brings fear it no the eyes of many sailors. All it will take is a few weeks of woodwork."

"Aye. You might want to talk to this man, he says you gave him a task." He said pointing at the man approaching in the water.

Bjørn climbed up onto the pier and noticed that the captain and the boy had already started talking. "Hello, this one," Bjørn nods to the boy, "Took me up to the sniper's perch and had a little talk with me." Bjørn chuckles, "I'm sorry about what has happened to your ship, but a man that was swimming away tried to warn me about this boy being a Templar. Seeing as I am from the brotherhood of assassins, I typically don't like Templars, but he seemed to have a grudge against him. I don't know if he has anything to do with the fire, but he seems like the man that would fit that character of trying to kill a templar and burn the boat with him. After Bjørn finished speaking, he sat down and began to try and breath. Swimming 10 yards and then giving a long talk can leave you breathless.

"If you're an assassin I suppose that means the other man can't be. How odd."Joseph said.

The captain nodded and turned to Joseph, "Since I'm only a pawn of the order I suppose the prodigy should handle this." He put his hand on the boys shoulder before walking away to take care of the men

Joseph looked over at the supposed assassin. "You... youre not bad for an Assassin. You must not be from around here." He said with a skeptical and confused look on his face.

"You are correct! I am from the land of Norway, a very northern nation. I was one of the best in Europe. Unfortunately it becomes quite hard to get contracts when you have paintings of your face and name showing that you are wanted all over Europe. I don't believe that I have introduced myself, I am Bjørn Thørson, Assassin from Norway." Bjørn says with a bow at the end. He has taken a liking to the young man.

At the mention of Haythem and Shay, Bjørn's face goes straight white. "I had a run in with them once, I was left with a gash to my left jaw and a concussion. They fared better, Haythem had a gash in his right hand and Shay had a deep cut to his left leg. I haven't seen them since." Bjørn told the story only turning whiter as he remembered the encounter.

Joseph remembered seeing such a wound on Haythem. But also saw that it was a bitter memory for the Assassin. "I've got to go inside and dry off my garments. You're welcome to join me in the fort." He said. He wanted to know this man better. Perhaps he could learn from him.

Joseph led the man along the pathway to the fort. Beautiful gardens and expensive achitecture. Probably not surprising to an assassin, knowing that templar have resources. He couldn't help but think there was more to the war between factions than Shay had told him. "You're probably wondering what a 16 year old boy is doing as a Templar. I was chosen for this by my family and by the Grandmaster of England."

"Is your family of noble blood? Judging by the priority that you seem to be, I would guess that you have strong ties to the Templar." Bjørn says with a sad demeanor.
