Background/Biography: Percy was born in England, but at a time where crime was at quite a big level in the world. England was nearly the most dangerous country to be in at the time. Names like Jack the Ripper, and the Assassins brought fear to everyone that lived there. Percy was born without a mother, for he was adopted by his father from fear of not continuing the Kershaw family name, for John Kershaw (Percy's father) never had interest in women.
John took his son when he was 12 to America, for the situation was getting much worse. He lived in America for most of his life, actually, until he became an assassin. He realized that the world had gone so very wrong, and it was time to change it. But one day, two years after joining the Brotherhood, Percy was captured by the Templars. They held him hostage, and told the Brotherhood to give themselves up, or for Percy to die. And the chose option two. Percy's throat was slit, and his body was coffined. Percy woke up a few hours later, only just able to breath and only just surviving. Percy's throat was missed by less than an inch. He didn't care what the Templars did to him. It was the assassins, the ones he called Brothers for two year, who compromised him. They betrayed him. Percy changed his name to William, as no body knew he was alive, and he had to keep it like that, or else the Templars would finish the job. His father had died a year before, and he decided to keep his surname.
He joined the Templars, and moved to Europe (mostly in Italy), where war was braking out more so than any other country. And since then his main goal has been to bring order the the ones that betrayed him. Obviously freedom was not the answer, as it resolved in compromising the ones you used to call family.
