Background/Biography:
Born on the Sabellico winery, Dante picked grapes and made wine from an early age. His father, Mario, owned and operated the business. His mother died in childbirth, and Dante tries his best to not think about her.
Since Dante was an only child, his responsibilities were doubled. He would have to pick grapes, make the wine, and deliver the wine to the nearby village. Of course, the Sabellico winery had employees. But it was still hard for Dante.
Dante was also abused by his father. If things were not done exactly to his father's liking, Dante would be beaten until he did it right. Finally, on his 14th birthday, Dante had had enough. He ran away, and found his way to Rome. There, he met Giorgio while pickpocketing an old woman.
Giorgio was an assassin. Not a member of the Order of Assassins, but he carried the general term "Assassin". However, he was an honorable assassin. That is why when he saw Dante pick the pocket of an old woman in the streets of Rome, he quickly caught him. Impressed by Dante's swiftness and acrobatics, Giorgio decided to take the 15 year old boy under his wing to be a freelance assassin.
When Dante was 17, he and Giorgio were on a routine contract when something went wrong. Giorgio slipped on the roof of the house, and fell to the ground. While he was uninjured, the guards of their target quickly reached him, and killed him. Dante finished the contract, and roughly went on with his life,.
