Name: Felicity Mercer
Age: 24
Affiliation: Assassin
Appearance: Waist length, straight light brown hair that is kept in a braid at most times with hazel eyes and fair skin. She stands about 5’ 4” and has a slim figure but is not what you would call curvy. When seen in public for any meeting, she is dressed in day dresses for appearance. Her assassins robes are pale gray and teal instead of the normal red or blue.
Personality: Felicity is straight and by the book. She usually seems extremely uptight around people, and it always seems as if she's playing her part. Being from a noble family, she has grace and manners and has been taught that a lady is something to been seen and not heard. She knows her way with her hidden blade and her skill in this area has at least taught her to be sociable with her fellow assassins, though she may not get close to them. She was taught to hold herself as a lady, and as such, hardly ever recognizes when a male is truly showing her any affection. Would be suitors she figures out a way to chase away, since marriage is the last thing on her mind at the moment. Resourceful, and hard working, she makes sure a job gets done. More of an introvert, she would rather be at home reading by herself than at a ball with many people, when not on a job.
Favorite Weapons: Hidden blade and daggers
Strengths: High status social skills, negotiation and charm, Agile
Weaknesses: Felicity has a flaw in her vision, and needs her glasses to read or see at distances. However, she refuses to wear them in public, and as such she has no ability for ranged fighting and may not be able to recognize someone in the distance by sight alone. Being raised in a high class family, she was taught that her flaw would make her worthless, and as such, the woman is rather self conscious of herself and how she appears to her fellow assassins. The fact that she still needs them remains a secret that only she knows. She is better at stealth, and does not have much strength. Thus any heavy weapon in her hands is useless, and those wielding it against her have much of an advantage.
Background/Biography: Felicity had a good childhood with her parents. She was given more than average because of her father’s job and status. Her parents held a respectable position, and were kind to everyone. Her father was a tradesman, and good at his job. They were not the richest family, but they had more than what they needed, so Felicity was well off in life. She was still taught to be kind to those around her, and her father often brought Felicity to his shop. She learned bits and pieces of haggling and charm from him while she watched him work. From seeing him buy and sell so many things, she has become somewhat skilled in appraising goods, enough so that she would not be able to be taken advantage of.
When she was twelve, her father was going back to Britain for a business trip. While he was gone, her mother fell ill and passed. The doctors spoke of it as natural causes, but there were rumors that spread around… that her father had a love interest and poisoned his own wife; others that he was himself poison and nothing but a killer, an assassin they called him. Others said he was a Templar, and left his family to die for power. When he did not return as planned, Felicity began to believe these rumors. For a few years, she stayed with good friends of the family. This was planned by her mother, should anything have ever happened to them while Felicity was still young. They took very good care of Felicity, and chased away would be suitors who were looking for nothing but the money from her father's trade company. They were also good to keep his business alive. It was in this time that the girl came to know more of the assassins. She had always heard hushed rumors of them, but as the friends were great supporters, Felicity was shown so much more. She came to know her parents had been supporters as well. The son of the family was eight years older than Felicity and he had trained to be an assassin. When she turned fourteen, Felicity joined the order herself. Rumors of what was to come had her worried, and she vowed to do more than sit by like she had to when her mother had been ill. Not to mention, she wanted make up for her father’s disappearance and possible abandonment. She trained hard and under the wing of the boy. Training hard for the ten years has helped her skill and she is good at getting in close to make an attack. Though she still keeps her appearance for her family’s name, she has done well to try and drive off any suitors.
