It was dark; the moon the only source of light. A figure in dark red robes sat on a rooftop, eager for something to do. He looked up at the moon, enjoying the cool night wind. Then something caught his eye. Something shimmered against the darkness. Eric tilted his head, curious but not enough to make him drop onto the ground.

| Hannah quietly walked along the asphalt pavement, her feet barely making a sound. The streetlights dimly lit her small frame, clad in a black jacket, jeans, and boots. She winced slightly and she touched a fresh cut on her lip, but shrugged it off and turned into a dark alleyway between two tall buildings. Leaning over to a dumpster nearby, she glanced both ways before ditching a knife splattered with blood. A gust of wind picked up, causing her auburn hair to blow behind her as she zipped up her black leather jacket and continued to walk. | |

The crimson clad Assassin lifted his head, hearing something drop to the ground. A small blade by the sound of it. His body tensed as he followed the noise and dropped low onto the roof just about the girl's head.

| Hannah tensed up slightly as another gust of wind picked up; something felt off in her instincts. Quietly reaching into a pouch on her hip, she discretely slipped a small 2 inch, spade shaped blade into her hand. When she grasped it in her right hand, it was hidden by her sleeve. Steeling herself for anything that may happen, she deliberately turned into an alleyway that was more open; this might give her more space to react. | |

The Assassin watched the girl carefully before following her from the roofs. If there was one thing he had learnt, it was to assess the situation before jumping into a battle that might not even be necessary. Eric quietly leapt from the roof and landed in a pile of leaves, glad it was there. He wouldn't emerge until he was certain she wasn't looking. Only when he felt secure, he moved from the leaves.

| Hannah buried her hands into her pockets, stowing the knife away for now. She felt confident that she was alone in the night; still, you could never be too cautious. As she made her way down the dingy alleyway, she saw a rat scuttle out from underneath a dumpster. A dim lightbulb illuminated it, and Hannah could only think target practice. Stopping in her tracks, she pulled out her throwing knife and set up her stance. Pulling her arm back, she quietly calculated the distance and threw the knife, causing the metal to sail through the air. It hit the target dead on; in this case, the rat's head. She smirked as she leaned down and pulled it out, wiping her knife off. | |

"That's some arm you've got," he commented, leaning against a wall with his arms crossed. This was his relaxed stage, as it kept his hidden blades hidden as well as prevented his natural reflex from emerging.
